How to connect the cooler to the mains?

Use the provided AC power cord. Connect it to the AC socket (220-240 V~) at the back of the device, then plug the other end into a properly installed and grounded wall outlet. Set the mode switch to MAX, MIN or ECO.

How to connect the cooler to a car cigarette lighter?

Unplug the mains cord if needed. Take out the 12 V cord from the storage compartment (it is attached to the device). Plug it into the vehicle's cigarette lighter with the engine running. Set the switch to MAX. Important: do not use the cooler continuously without the engine running to avoid draining the battery.

What are the different cooling modes?

The device offers three modes: MAX (maximum cooling to cool food quickly), MIN (minimum cooling for already pre-chilled food) and ECO (economical cooling for extended duration). ECO and MIN modes are only available with mains power 220-240 V~.

How to clean the cooler?

Always unplug the device before cleaning. Never immerse the cooler in water. Remove the lid by pulling it upwards. Use a damp cloth (possibly with a little dish soap) to clean the inside and outside. Wipe dry with a cloth. Replace the lid following the guides.

What to do if the cooler does not work?

First check the power supply: make sure the cord is properly connected and the mains socket works (test with another device). Check the fuse in the fuse box. For car use, check the cigarette lighter and the 12 V cord fuse. If nothing works, contact our after-sales service or a specialist.

Can I leave the cooler plugged in continuously?

The device is not designed for continuous operation. It is intended for intermittent use (e.g., during trips or camping). Do not leave it plugged in permanently. Unplug it after use.

What is the capacity of the cooler?

The maximum capacity is 22 liters. This corresponds to approximately 24 cans of 33 cl. For best performance, place pre-chilled food inside.

Can I use the cooler for hot food?

No, the cooler is designed to keep pre-chilled food and drinks cool. Never place hot food inside as this would overload the cooling system and could damage the device.

How to store the cooler when not in use?

Clean it and let it dry completely. Store the cord in the designated compartment. Keep it in its original packaging, in a dry and well-ventilated place, out of reach of children.

What to do if the 12 V cord fuse blows?

The 12 V cord is equipped with a fuse in the cigarette lighter plug. To replace it, unscrew the cap of the plug, remove the defective fuse and insert a new one of the same rating (buy it from a specialist). Screw the cap back on. If the problem persists, have the cigarette lighter checked by an automotive specialist.

• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
• Do not connect the appliance to an electrical circuit outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.

Do not store any explosive substances such as aerosol containers containing flammable propellant inside the appliance.

CAUTION: Risk of overheating!

Keep the ventilation slots free!

If the heat generated by the operation is not properly dissipated, it can result in overheating and fire.

• Do not place the appliance on or directly next to heat sources such as ovens, radiators, etc.

• Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

CAUTION:

This appliance is not designed to be immersed in water during cleaning. Please follow the instructions that we have included for you in the chapter on “Cleaning”.

Intended Use

The appliance is suitable for cooling pre-chilled food and drinks.

It is intended for use in the household and in similar applications, such as:

• In personal kitchen areas in shops, offices and other work areas;
- By guests in hotels, motels and other accommodation;
• In bed & breakfast accommodation;
- To use for camping;
- In motor vehicles.

It is not intended for the following use:

• In agriculture;
  • In catering and similar wholesale use.

This appliance may not be exposed to the rain.

Unpacking the Appliance

1. Remove the appliance from the package.
2. Remove all packaging material such as films, filler, cable holders and cardboard.
3. Check the delivery contents for completeness.
4. Should the package contents be incomplete or damages be found, do not take the appliance into operation. Take it immediately back to the dealer.

i NOTE:

Dust or production residues can be located on the appliance. We recommend to clean the appliance as described under "Cleaning".

Notes for Use

General Notes

• Never place the appliance next to naked flames or other heat sources.
• For best results, only store already cooled food / beverages in the cooler. Select a place of use that is protected from direct sunlight.
• The lid is locked when the handle is pushed back and when carrying.
• To open the cooler box, pull the handle forward.
• Do not open the lid more often than required. Do not leave the lid open more often than it is necessary. This affects the cooling performance.
• The cooling duration depends on the ambient temperature.
• The appliance is not suitable for permanent operation.
• The appliance can be connected to two different energy sources.
• Alternating current: 220–240V\~or

• Use the switch to select an operating mode.

Operating Modes

i NOTE:

To use the ECO or MIN functions, the appliance must be connected to 220 - 240 V alternating current.

- In the MAX operating mode, cooling is at the highest level. Use this operating mode if you want to cool the food.

• The output is reduced in the operating mode ECO. Use this mode if you want to cool for a longer period of time.
• In the MIN operating mode, cooling is performed at the lowest level. Use this operating mode for food that has already been precooled.

Using the Appliance

The switch for the operating mode, the AC connection socket and the DC cable can be found at the backside of the appliance.

Connection to the Alternating Current

1. Check to make sure that the mains voltage that you want to use is 220 - 240 V\~.
2. Plug the power cord for alternating current into the AC socket on the appliance.
3. Connect the appliance to a properly installed earthed socket.
4. Set the switch to MAX, MIN or ECO.

Connection to the Direct Current

1. Remove the power cord for the alternating current, if necessary.
2. Turn on the engine of the motor vehicle.
3. Remove the DC cable from the cable storage compartment at the backside of the appliance.
   The cable is firmly connected to the appliance. You won't be able to remove it.
4. Connect the appliance to the cigarette lighter in the motor vehicle.
5. Set the switch to MAX.

CAUTION:

i NOTE:

Protect the battery of your motor vehicle. Only run the appliance in the motor vehicle while the engine is running.

End of Operation

There is no automatic shut-off. The appliance runs permanently as long as it is connected to a power source.

1. Unplug the power cord from the socket or the cigarette lighter.
2. If you have operated the appliance with alternating current, unplug the connection cable from the appliance.

Cleaning

WARNING:

• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water! It could result in an electric shock or fire.

CAUTION:

• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.

• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.

• The lid is removable. Pull the lid upwards out of the holder. Pay attention to the guidings.

• Use a moist towel to clean the inside and the outside. You may add a dishwashing liquid to the towel.
• Dry it with a cloth afterwards.
• Fasten the lid back into the holder.

Storage

• Clean the appliance as described and allow it to dry.
• If necessary, store the DC cable in the cable storage compartment.
  • We recommend to keep the appliance in the original packaging if it will not be used for long periods.
  • Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a dry, well ventilated place.

Troubleshooting
