IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using this or any other electrical appliance, always follow these basic safety precautions, especially when children are present.

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.

WARNING-To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or serious personal injury:

• This product is not intended for use by children. Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. Extra caution is necessary when using this appliance near children.
• Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allowed to cool before assembling, disassembling, relocating, or cleaning it.
• Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when not in use.
• Do not immerse the Base, Power Cord, or Plug of this product in or expose the Power Cord or Plug to water or other liquids.
• Do not place in dishwasher or use abrasive sponges or cloths to clean the appliance.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use protective oven mitts or gloves when removing the Lid
• Take proper precautions to prevent burns, fire, personal or property damage as this appliance generates heat and steam during use.
• Only use attachments and accessories recommended and sold by the Manufacturer.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven, or other heated surfaces.
• Use extreme caution when moving an appliance containing hot food.
• Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep at least 4-6 inches of space on all sides of the product to allow adequate air circulation.
• Keep the product away from curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels, or other flammable materials.
• Do not plug or unplug the product from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
• This product is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial, household use in cooking of food for human consumption; do not use the product outdoors or for any other purpose.
• Do not operate the product empty.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter where it may be tripped over or pulled.
  Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.
• Do not operate the product if it has a damaged or cut Power Cord or plug, if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, or if the Motor Housing is dropped in or exposed to water.
• This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Please review the Warranty Policy on Page 6.

• Do not overload wall outlet, extension cords, or integral convenience holders, as this can result in a fire or electric shock.

• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning and allow appliance to cool before cleaning or adding and removing parts.
  PASTRIES WILL BE VERY HOT. USE A NON-METAL SPOON TO CAREFULLY REMOVE THEM

• There is no on or off switch. To turn off, remove plug from wall outlet. Allow unit to cool before storing.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:

• The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the product.
• Arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled.

WARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other blade) to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

HOW TO USE

Attention: First use may cause a slight odor or small smoking upon heating, it is normal. We recommend a "trial run" at a high temperature to eliminate any remaining substance.

1. Before first use, wipe down all surfaces with a damp cloth and dry.
2. Find a dry, suitable, level surface near an electrical outlet.
3. The Nonstick Cooking Surface should be lightly coated with a small amount of vegetable oil. Vegetable oil can be applied with a paper towel or with a nonstick oil spray. The oil will help protect the nonstick quality of the cooking surface. *This should be done periodically to maintain the nonstick quality.
4. Preheat the appliance by closing the Lid and plugging into an electrical outlet.
5. When the power is on, the RED Power Light will come on. The GREEN Ready Light will stay off while the appliance is preheating.
6. The appliance should preheat for a minimum of 3 minutes. The Green Ready Light will turn on when the appliance is ready to cook.
7. While the appliance is preheating, you may prepare the ingredients.
8. Raise the Lid using an oven mitt or potholder to prevent accidental burns.
9. Put in ingredients and close the Lid. Make sure Lid is locked.

Steam may be released from appliance during cooking. For your safety, avoid contact with steam, as it is very hot and can cause burns.

1. The cooking time will range between 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
2. When the food has completely cooked, raise the Lid with a potholder or oven mitt. Remove the food from the nonstick cooking surface with a plastic or wooden spoon. DO NOT use metal utensils, as they may scratch and damage the nonstick cooking surface.
3. If cooking more than one batch in a session, after removal of the first batch, lower the Lid to maintain heat until ready to cook the next batch.
4. As soon as you are finished cooking, unplug appliance, and allow to cool.
5. Once the appliance is cool, following directions in Cleaning and Maintenance section to clean your mini corndog maker.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Please take care of your Mini Corndog Maker by following these simple instructions and precautions. Cleaning is a snap.

• Disconnect from the electrical outlet by unplugging the appliance.
• Make sure the appliance is cool before cleaning.
• Clean the upper and lower Nonstick Cooking Surface with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry.
• Wipe the exterior with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry.
  It is that simple!

RECIPIES

You can even use any pre-packaged mixes to create treats such as brownies, cake, cornbread, muffins, etc. Simply follow the directions on the box.

Classic Corn Dog Batter

1% Cup Cornmeal

• 1 / 2 Tsp. Baking Powder

• 1 / 4 Cup Milk

1 / 2 Tsp. Salt

1 Tbsp. Sugar

· 1% Cup Flour

• 1 Egg, beaten

Preheat the Mini Corn Dog Maker as directed. Mix dry ingredients. Stir in milk and egg. Beat together.

Cut hot dogs into the correct size of the Corn Dog Maker. Then insert wooden skewer into each hot dog. Carefully fill wells about 2/3 full and lay hot dog on stick on top, add more batter as needed. Close the Lid and cook for 3-5 minutes until light golden brown in color. Open Lid with a potholder or oven mitt. Remove each corn dog with wooden or plastic spoon.

Cheese on a Stick

• Classic Corn Dog batter (see above)

• Your choice of cheese

Preheat the Mini Corn Dog Maker as directed. Mix dry ingredients. Stir in milk and egg. Beat together.

Breakfast Dog

• Classic Corn Dog batter (see above)

• Breakfast sausage links

Preheat the Mini Corn Dog Maker as directed. Mix dry ingredients. Stir in milk, egg and syrup. Beat together. Cut sausages into the correct size of the Corn Dog Maker. Then insert wooden skewer into each sausage. Carefully fill wells about 2/3 full and lay sausage on stick on top, add more batter as needed. Close the Lid and cook for 3-5 minutes until light golden brown in color. Open Lid with a potholder or oven mitt. Remove each corn dog with wooden or plastic spoon.

This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this product, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with returning the product to us and our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is no longer available, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value. This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse.

THIS WARRANTY EXTENDS ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL CONSUMER PURCHASER. KEEP THE ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT, AS PROOF OF PURCHASE IS REQUIRED TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM.

This warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than what is specified on the rating label (E.G., 120V~60Hz). We exclude all claims for special, incidental, and consequential damages caused by breach of express or implied warranty. All liability is limited to the amount of the purchase price. Every implied warranty, including any statutory warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is disclaimed except to the extent prohibited by law, in which case such warranty or condition is limited to the duration of this written warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other legal rights that vary depending on where you live. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or special, incidental, or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitations may not apply to you. To make a warranty claim do not return this appliance to the store.
