When using this or any other electrical appliance, always follow these basic safety precautions, especially when children are present.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
⚠ WARNING-To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious personal injury and property damage please note the following:
- This product is not intended for use by children. Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. Extra caution is necessary when using this appliance near children.
- Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allowed to cool before assembling, disassembling, relocating, or cleaning it.
- Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when not in use.
- Do not immerse the Appliance, Power Cord, or Plug of this product in or expose the Power Cord or Plug to water or other liquids.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs when handling product. Use protective oven mitts or gloves to avoid burns or personal injury.
- Take proper precautions to prevent burns, fire, or personal or property damage as this appliance generates heat and steam during use.
- Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the product manufacturer.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven, or other heated surfaces.
- Use extreme caution when moving an appliance containing hot food, water, or other liquids.
- Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep at least 4-6 inches of space on all sides of the product to allow adequate air circulation.
- Use appliance on a table or flat surface. Keep the product away from curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels, or other flammable materials.
- Do not plug or unplug the product from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
- This product is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial, household use in cooking of food for human consumption; do not use the product outdoors or for any other purpose.
- Do not operate the product empty.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter where it may be tripped over or pulled.
- Do not operate the product if it has a damaged or cut Power Cord or plug, if wires are exposed, if it malfunctions, if it is dropped or damaged, or if the Motor Housing is dropped in or exposed to water.
- This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Please review the Warranty Policy on Page 8.
- Do not put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the product, as the power cord could fray and break.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:
– The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the product;
- Arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled.
WARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other blade) to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.
Before First Use
IMPORTANT: Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding as there may be accessory parts contained within the packaging material.
- With a damp cloth, gently wipe down the grill plates to remove any dust.
- Plug the grill into the nearest Electrical Outlet. The Power Light will come on to indicate the appliance is plugged in.
- Preheat the appliance with the cover closed for about 6 minutes.
Attention: First use may cause a slight odor or small smoking upon heating, it is normal. This is a result of the heating element chemical reaction. It quickly goes away.

Brentwood Removable Drip Tray HandleUsing Your Electric Contact Grill:
WARNING: Surfaces may be hot. Use Oven mitt to open Lid while cooking.
TIP: Once the appliance has preheated you may brush a small amount of Oil or Cooking spray to the plates.
- Make sure your Removable Drip Tray is placed directly underneath the front of the grill.
- Place food you would like to cook on the Bottom Grilling Plate and close the Top Lid.
- Use the time guide below for an approximate cooking time.
- When food has finished cooking, use an cooking gloves to raise the lid as steam may escape and be hot. Use non-metal Tongs or Wooden Utensils to remove food as to not damage the Non-Stick coating. Do not cut food on the Grill.
- When cooking is complete, unplug the product from the electrical outlet.
WARNING: Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when it is not in use or will be left unattended.
NOTE: According to US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service, cook foods such as meat, fish, and poultry thoroughly before consuming them to avoid food-borne illnesses. Before consuming, determine the temperature of the foods using a food thermometer (not included). Refer to the USDA web site for information on food temperature rules.
Cleaning Your Electric Indoor Grill:
WARNING: Always unplug the product and allow it to cool before cleaning or storing. NOTICE: Never submerge or add water to the grill.
- Make sure the appliance is unplugged and has cooled completely before cleaning.
- Wipe Grill Plates with a paper towel first to remove drippings. Removable Drip Tray can be emptied and cleaned under running water with mild dish soap.
- Use a damp sponge with a small amount of nonabrasive soap to gently scrub grilling surface. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry.
- For stubborn stains or food, use a nylon brush or other utensil safe for non-stick surfaces.
- Surfaces of Grill can be cleaned with soft, damp cloth.
- Dry all parts thoroughly before storing or using again.
PANINI RECIPES
Cuban Panini
Ingredients:
Cuban Bread, Thinly Sliced Ham, Roasted Pork Pieces, Swiss Cheese, Dill Pickle Chips, Yellow Mustard, Kosher Salt, Softened Unsalted Butter
Directions
Cut Cuban bread into two 6-inch halves. Butter the outside of each half of bread. Place each half of bread butter side down on a cutting board. Spread yellow mustard on the inside of each half of bread. On the bottom half of the bread, layer equal parts dill pickle chips, roasted pork pieces, thinly sliced ham, and swiss cheese. Add a pinch of kosher salt and close with top half of the bread. Once preheated, press sandwich in the panini maker until bread is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted, about 5-6 minutes. Carefully remove hot sandwich, place on cutting board, cut in half, and serve.
Chicken Pesto Panini
Ingredients:
French Baguette
Thinly Sliced Chicken
Fresh Mozzarella
Fresh Spinach
Roma Tomato
Basil Pesto
Kosher Salt
Softened Unsalted Butter
Directions
Cut French baguette into two 6-inch halves. Butter outside of each half of bread. Place each half of baguette butter side down on a cutting board. Spread generous amount of basil pesto on the inside of each half of baguette. On the bottom half of the baguette, layer equal parts fresh spinach, thinly sliced roma tomato slices, thinly sliced chicken, and thick slices of fresh mozzarella cheese. Add a pinch of kosher salt and close with top half of the bread. Once preheated, close and press sandwich in the panini maker until bread is
golden brown and the cheese is fully melted, about 5-6 minutes. Carefully remove hot sandwich, place on cutting board, cut in half, and serve.
B.L.T. Avocado & Cheddar Panini
Ingredients:
Thick Sourdough Bread
Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Thick Cut Bacon
Fresh Lettuce
Fresh Tomato
Ripe Avocado
Yellow Mustard
Mayonnaise
Kosher Salt
Coarse Black Pepper
Softened Unsalted Butter
Directions
Butter the outsides of 2 thick pieces of sourdough and place butter down on a cutting board. Spread mayonnaise and yellow mustard on the inside of each piece of sourdough. To the inside of each piece of bread, add a dash of kosher salt and coarse black pepper along with a slice of extra sharp cheddar cheese. On one slice of sourdough pile high equal parts sliced avocado, thick cut bacon strips, lettuce, and sliced tomato. Once preheated, close and press sandwich in the panini maker until bread is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted, about 5-6 minutes. Carefully remove hot sandwich, place on cutting board, cut in half, and serve.

| Boneless Steak | Marinate if desired. Steak should be 1/2 to 1" thick. Grill for 4 to 7 minutes for medium rare, 6 to 9 minutes for medium doneness. |
| Chicken Breasts (Only use boneless) | Chicken breasts can be cooked as-is or pounded with a mallet or rolling pin to a thickness of about 1/3" for shorter cooking time. Ghi until thoroughly cooked to 160°F, about 4 to 6 minutes. |
| Fish Fillets | Cook until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Grill for 2 to 3 minute per 1/2" of thickness on a dual contact grill. |
| Fish Steaks | Tuna, salmon, halibut, and swordfish steaks should be 1/2 to 1" thick. Marinate before cooking if desired. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes for each 1/2" o thickness. |
| Ground meat Patties | Whether pork, beef, chicken, or seafood, all burgers should be cooked to 165°F for food safety reasons. Bacteria on the surface of meat is mixed throughout ground meat when it is put through a grinder. Patties should be 1/2 to 3/4" thick. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes and test with a foodthermometer. |
| Hot Dogs and Sausages | For precooked products, cook until heated through, about 2 to 3 minutes. For raw products, first precook in a skillet with a little water until almost done, then finish cooking on the grill for 4 to 6 minutes until browned and cooked to 165°F. |
| Lamb Chops (Only use boneless) | Chops should be boneless and about 1/2 to 1" thick. Grill for 6 to 8 minutes until 145°F. |
| Pork Chops (Only use boneless) | Chops should be boneless and about 1/2 to 3/4" thick. Grill until only slightly pink in the center or 145°F, about 6 to 8 minutes. |
| Shrimp | Grill until shrimp turn pink and are springy to the touch. Cook for 2-1/2 to 4 minutes. |

This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this product, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with returning the product to us and our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is no longer available, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value. This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse.
THIS WARRANTY EXTENDS ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL CONSUMER PURCHASER. KEEP THE ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT, AS PROOF OF PURCHASE IS REQUIRED TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM.
This warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than what is specified on the rating label (E.G., 120V\~60Hz). We exclude all claims for special, incidental, and consequential damages caused by breach of express or implied warranty. All liability is limited to the amount of the purchase price. Every implied warranty, including any statutory warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is disclaimed except to the extent prohibited by law, in which case such warranty or condition is limited to the duration of this written warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other legal rights that vary depending on where you live. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or special, incidental, or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitations may not apply to you. To make a warranty claim do not return this appliance to the store.
