How to install the filter?

Unplug the unit, lift the cover, remove the filter from its packaging, then replace it in the compartment with the dark grey side facing outward. Do not place the white side outward. Close the cover and plug the unit back in.

How often should I replace the filter?

It is recommended to change the filter every six months to ensure optimal performance. The replacement filter is model FLT4010.

How to clean the unit?

Turn off and unplug the unit. Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not pour water on the unit or use abrasive cleaners. Ensure the air intake and outlet grills are clean.

Why won't the unit turn on?

Check that the unit is plugged in on both ends. Make sure the filter is properly installed and that the metal safety switch inside is not bent. If the problem persists, call customer service at 1.866.603.5900.

The noise level has increased, what should I do?

Unplug the unit and check the filter condition. If the filter is dirty, clean or replace it. Open the base to check that the fan is not obstructed.

Yes, never look directly at the UV bulb when it is on. The UV lamp is designed to operate inside the purifier and does not emit visible light to the outside.

No, the unit is designed for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors, in a bathroom, or near flammable gases.

What is the warranty period?

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Please read the following precautions carefully before operating the Table Top Multi-Layer Air Purifier. Failure to do so could result in a fire hazard, electrical shock, bodily injury or damage to the unit.

WARNING: THE CORDS, WIRES AND/OR CABLES SUPPLIED WITH THIS PRODUCT CONTAIN CHEMICALS, INCLUDING LEAD OR LEAD COMPOUNDS, KNOWN TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO CAUSE CANCER AND BIRTH DEFECTS OR OTHER REPRODUCTIVE HARM. WASH HANDS AFTER USING.

Do not damage, pull, twist, bend or place heavy objects on the electrical cord.

Never handle the electrical cord with wet hands.

Do not alter the plug in any way.

Do not use with extension cords.

Never tug on the electrical cord to unplug the unit from the outlet.

Unplug the unit before cleaning, installing or replacing filters.

If the electrical cord becomes damaged, please contact a qualified technician for repair.

Do not place fingers or foreign objects into the airflow openings of the unit.

Operate the unit in a well-ventilated area.

Do not operate unit with any power supply other than the one provided.

Do not operate the unit outdoors.

Do not operate the unit near flammable gases.

Do not operate the unit in humid or wet places such as a bathroom.

• Do not use chemical sprays near the unit, they will accumulate on the filter and potentially cause harmful fumes.
• Do not operate the unit in an area with a high oil content, such as mechanical oil or cooking oil, over time it will deteriorate the filter.
• Never look directly at the UV-light bulb when it.
  Make sure all filters are correctly installed before running the unit.
  This is not a toy and is not intended for use by children. For adult use only.
  Children cannot recognize the hazards associated with the usage of electrical appliances. For this reason, always supervise children when they are near the unit.
• Do not defeat interlock switch.

This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on; the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

1. Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
2. Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver.
3. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
4. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

INSTALLATION

The filter can be found packaged inside the Air Purifier. It is recommended to replace the filter every six months to maintain optimal performance. Replacement filter model number is FLT4010.

Installing the Filter

1. Unplug the air purifier from the electrical outlet.

2. Lift to release the filter cover.

3. Gently pull filter from unit (*and remove bag from the filter if the unit is new).

4. Replace filter into compartment.
Make sure the dark gray side faces up towards you.

Do NOT insert filter with white pleated side facing up.
Dark gray side should always face upwards.

1. To install new filter reverse steps 1-4.

INSTALLATION

Features: The filter is an all-in-one multi-stage filter.

Layers of air cleaning include:

1. Charcoal removes odors and smoke.
2. HEPA captures 99.97% of airborne dust and allergens.
3. PCO captures and dissolves airborne allergens and mold.
4. UV-light bulb works with filter to kill germs.

Cleaning the Unit

WARNING: To avoid serious injury from electric shock, the unit must be turned OFF and unplugged from the power outlet prior to any cleaning.

1. TURN THE UNIT OFF AND UNPLUG THE UNIT FROM THE POWER OUTLET.
2. Clean unit with a soft, damp cloth only. DO NOT pour or splash water on the unit or use any abrasive type cleaner. Clean all external surfaces, especially the air intake grills and air outlet.
3. Reposition the unit, plug power cord into power outlet and turn ON.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

PROBLEM SOLUTION
Unit doesn't operate.	Check that unit is plugged in. Check Safety Switch: Remove filter. Check small metal safety switch. Switch cannot be bent inside the unit. Call Customer Service at 1,866,603,5900.
No air circulating from unit.	Unplug unit: Check filter and remove bag before first use.
Increase in noise level.	Make sure filter is clean. Replace. Unplug unit: Open bottom, remove filters and make sure fan is clear.
Filter door does not close properly.	Check that the installation of the filter is correct.
