-Read the instructions carefully before use.
- Take special care when children are near the device.
- Do not use the device for purposes other than those for which it was intended.
- Do not immerse the device, cable or charger in water or other liquids.
- Do not leave the device unattended during operation.
- Always remove the plug from the mains socket when not in use or before cleaning.
- Never use a damaged device, including one with a damaged cord or plug, in which case have it repaired at an authorised service centre.
-Do not use the device outdoors.
- Do not hang the power cable on sharp edges or allow it to come into contact with hot surfaces.
- Never fill the kettle above the maximum or minimum level as overfilling it may result with splashing boiling water.

USING THE KETTLE
PREPARATION FOR USE
In order to remove factory deposits, protective films, etc. that may be present on a brand new device, fill the kettle with water to the maximum level, boil the water and then rinse the device. This operation should be repeated at least 5 times, by proceeding as described below.

Before filling the kettle with water, remove it from the base (7).

Open the kettle lid with the button (lever) (3) and fill it with water to the desired level (however, the water level must not exceed the MIN (0.5 l) and MAX marks (1.0 l). Close the lid (2) carefully.
- Place the kettle on the base (7). Turn on the kettle by using the switch (5).
- The kettle will turn off automatically, when the water starts boiling. However, if necessary, it can be turned off earlier by using the switch (5).
- After boiling water or switching off the kettle, wait approx. 15-20 seconds before switching it back on. The overheating protection system turns the device off when the kettle is turned on without water. Allow the kettle to cool down for approx. 15 minutes before refilling.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Regularly clean the kettle from lime deposits. Use dedicated kettle descalers (follow the instructions in the descaler manual) or a mixture of water with vinegar or citric acid. Failure to descale the kettle may result with device damage. Wipe the kettle inside and out with a cloth. Do not use a wire brush, scouring pads or strong detergents.
