How to charge the Edifier MF3 speaker?

Insert the USB-C charging cable into the DC IN port. The red LED indicates charging; it turns off once charging is complete. Then disconnect the adapter and cable.

How to turn the speaker on and off?

Turn the knob in the ON direction until you hear a click to turn on (green LED on). Turn in the OFF direction to turn off (green LED off).

How to adjust the volume?

Turn the knob towards ON to increase volume and towards OFF to decrease it.

How to use the microphone with this speaker?

Plug the microphone into the MIC port. Hold the microphone to the left of your mouth, cover it with the black cotton cloth to filter out noise. Your voice will be amplified without feedback.

How to listen to music from an external source?

Insert an audio cable into the AUX port and connect it to your device (smartphone, computer). The speaker will output sound automatically.

What to do if the speaker emits no sound?

Check that the device is turned on, audio cables are properly connected, the audio source is working, and the volume is not at minimum. Try turning the device off and on again.

How to avoid feedback (howling) when using the microphone?

Reduce the speaker volume and move the microphone away from the speaker. Maintain sufficient distance between the mic and the speaker.

Can the speaker be used outdoors?

Yes, but it should not be exposed to rain, humidity, or excessive heat. Use it in a dry environment protected from the elements.

How to clean the Edifier MF3 speaker?

Turn off and unplug the device. Clean the surface with a dry cloth. Never use alcohol, gasoline, or harsh chemicals.

EN Important safety instruction

• Please read the instructions carefully. Keep it in safe place for future reference.
• Use only accessories approved by the manufacturer.
• Install the instrument properly by following the instructions in the device connection section.
• Using the product in a 0-35°C environment is recommended. Shipping and storing the product in a 0-35°C environment is recommended.
• To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, do not expose the product to rain or moisture.
• Do not use this product near water. Do not immerge the product into any liquid or have it exposed to dripping or splashing.
• Do not install or use this product near any heat source (e.g. radiator, heater, stove, or other devices that generate heat).
• Do not place any object filled with liquids, such as vases on the product; neither should any open fire, such as lighted candles be placed on the product.
• Do not block any ventilation openings. Do not insert any object into ventilation openings or slots. It may cause fire or electric shock.
• Keep sufficient clearance around the product to maintain good ventilation (minimum 5cm is recommended).
• Do not force a plug into the jack. Before connection, check for blockage in the jack and whether the plug matches the jack and is oriented to the right direction.
• Keep the provided accessories and parts (such as screws) away from children to prevent from being swallowed by mistake.
• Do not open or remove the housing yourself. It may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazardous risks. Regardless the cause of damage (such as damaged wire or plug, exposure to liquid splash or foreign object falling in, exposure to rain or moisture, product not working or being dropped, etc.), the repair has to be performed by an authorized service professional immediately.
• Before cleaning the product with dry cloth, always turn off the product and disconnect the power plug first.
• Never use strong acid, alkali, gasoline, alcohol, or other chemical solvents to clean the product surface. Use only neutral solvent or clear water for cleaning.
• The product must be used at an altitude of lower than 2000m.

Excessively loud music may lead to hearing loss. Please keep the volume in a safe range.

To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. ■ Operating Instructions

- Charge

Insert the Type-C charging cable into the "DC IN" port for charging.

Red LED steady lit = charging

LED off = fully charged

Charging completed: please unplug the adapter and charging cable.

- Turn on/off

Turn on: Rotate toward the "ON" direction until hearing a "click" tone. Green LED will be lit. Turn off: Rotate toward the "OFF" direction until hearing a "click" tone. Green LED will turn off.

• Volume control

Volume up: Rotate toward the "ON" direction Volume down: Rotate toward the "OFF" direction

● Voice amplification mode

Preparations for amplification:

1. Insert the microphone into the "MIC" port (Figure 1)
2. Standard way of wearing the microphone (Figure 2)

How to operate the microphone:

When wearing the microphone, please put it near the left side of your mouth and wrap it with black cotton to speak. The black cotton can filter other interfering sounds.

After it is correctly worn, your voice will be loud and clear without howling sound.

Insert an audio cable into the "AUX" port, then you can play music.

Troubleshooting

No sound

• Ensure the amplifier is ON.
• Ensure the audio cables are firmly connected and the input is set correctly on the amplifier.
• Ensure signal output from the audio source is normal.
• Try to turn up the volume of the amplifier or audio source.
• Turn the amplifier off and restart it.

Howling sound

• Please appropriately decrease volume.
• Please keep a proper distance between the microphone and amplifier.
