How to set up a user profile?

Press the SET button. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to select the user number, then confirm with SET. Then select gender, lifestyle (normal or sporty), height and age. Each confirmation is done by SET.

What does error Err2 mean?

The error Err2 indicates an impedance problem. It occurs if the feet are cold, if blood circulation is poor, or if you remove your feet too soon. To correct it, step on barefoot with warm feet well aligned on the electrodes, and remain still until the measurement is complete.

How to change the measurement unit (kg/lb/st)?

Press the UNIT button to switch between available units: kg, lb and st. The default unit is kilogram.

Why does the screen display 'Lo'?

The display Lo means the batteries are low. Replace the batteries with new ones. Use AAA batteries (estimated).

How to clean the scale?

Clean the scale with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use detergents or abrasive products. Avoid moisture as the scale is not waterproof.

Can the scale be used on a carpet or rug?

No, the scale must be placed on a flat, hard surface. Soft floors or carpets can distort measurements.

How many users can the scale memorize?

The scale can memorize up to 10 users, numbered from P0 to P9. Each profile stores personal data for analyses.

How does automatic recognition work?

If a user has already been registered, the scale automatically recognizes their weight. Simply step barefoot, wait for stabilization, and the measurements are displayed. If two users have a similar weight, press UP/DOWN to select the correct profile.

What to do if the scale does not turn on or does not measure?

Check that the batteries are installed and sufficiently charged. If the scale has been moved, perform two consecutive weighings to recalibrate it. Ensure the surface is hard and flat.

What is the warranty of the Duronic BS301 scale?

The scale is guaranteed 1 year by Shine-Mart Ltd (owner of the Duronic brand), from the date of purchase. The warranty covers electrical or manufacturing defects, subject to use in accordance with the instructions.

2. Press or to change the user No. Press SET for confirmation.

1. Press or to choose male or female, then choose normal mode or sport mode (for users who regularly exercise). Press SET to confirm.

Weighing and Measuring Fat

1. After completing the settings, the scale will indicate "0.0"

1. Stand with bare feet on the scale and wait for a stable weight to display.

1. Four "O" will appear and disappear one by one from left to right.

1. The scale will display the user information which will let the user confirm the information again. After the display, the scale will turn off automatically.

Important (Err2):

To analyse body mass, stand on the scale barefoot. If your feet are cold, if you have poor blood pressure, or if you step onto the scale too quickly, the measurement may be inaccurate. The Err2 message will display to indicate that there has been a problem. Make sure your feet are warm and aligned to the electrodes. Stand still with weight evenly balanced on each foot, and measure again.

Automatic Identification Range

1. If the user has correctly measured the fat weight, the scale will automatically memorize the user's weight and the user can directly stand on the scale to measure the fat weight next time without entering any information again.

2. Stand on the scale and wait for a stable weight to display.

1. Ensure the scale is on a flat, even surface. Avoid carpet or soft surfaces.
2. The surface of the scale will be slippery when wet. Please make sure both the glass and your feet are dry before use.
3. This scale is not waterproof. Do not expose to moisture.
4. Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use any chemical cleaning agents to clean the scale.
5. Please remove the batteries, if the scale is not being used for a long period.
6. When using the scales for the first time, or when changing their position or location, they should be restarted twice and should be free of interferences to ensure accurate measurements. This is for calibrating your scale. If you do not perform these measures, the measurements may be incorrect.
