How to use the pulse function on the Duronic BL102 blender?

To use the pulse function, press and hold the P button. Release it to stop blending. This allows quick control of the texture.

What to do if the blender does not work?

Check that the jug is correctly installed on the motor base and that the jug base is properly tightened. Make sure the plastic pin is pressed down.

Can I wash the jug in the dishwasher?

Yes, the jug and lid are dishwasher safe. However, the motor, blades, and sealing ring must be cleaned by hand.

How to quickly clean the jug after use?

Fill the jug halfway with water, add a few drops of dish soap, then activate the Pulse function until cleaning is complete. Then rinse with clean water.

The motor heats up and emits a burning smell, is this normal?

Yes, the first uses may produce a burning smell due to the new motor. This phenomenon disappears after a few uses.

What to do if the jug leaks?

Turn off the appliance, remove the ingredients, and unscrew the jug base counterclockwise. Check that the sealing ring is properly positioned.

Can I blend hot ingredients (soup) with this blender?

Yes, but it is important to let the jug cool down before washing it with hot water. Avoid rinsing it with cold water immediately after use.

What is the maximum capacity of the jug?

Do not exceed the maximum level indicators on the jug. In general, the capacity is approximately 1.5 litres.

How to use the Smoothie program?

Press the Smoothie button to start the program. To stop it, press the same button again.

The blender stops by itself after some time, what to do?

The motor is equipped with overheat protection. Unplug the appliance and let it cool down for at least 60 minutes before using it again.

Safety Tips

1. Please do not let children operate the machine.
2. Before power supply is switched on, please check whether the machine indicate voltage is consistent with the local voltage.
3. If the power cord plug is damaged, please don't use the product, refer to Duronic Customer Service at [e-mail]
4. Before turning the machine on, please make sure to all parts installed correctly;
5. Before disassembling any attachments or adjusting the blenders position, please remove the plug.
6. Before cleaning any parts of the machine, please unplug the machines power plug;
7. Do not put the main motor part into water or any other liquid, do not rinse under the tap. Please use wet cloth to wipe instead.
8. Please do not leave the product blending for long periods of time without supervision. In order to to prolong the blender's life span, take intermittent stops after every min.
9. When blending the ingredients, do not exceed the markings on the jar.
10. Please disassemble the blender before attempting to clean.
11. After use, please stow away blender out of the reach of children
12. Do not place the cutter holder without screwing the glass alone on the main machine, so as to avoid accidents.
13. When the machine is working do not insert your fingers or other body parts into the mixing jar.
14. The machine blade is very sharp, washing up gloves are required when cleaning.
15. When cleaning the blade, please refer to the section "cleaning".

3. This product has a glass mixing jar. Please note when the washing the jar, water temperature must be warm and not cold.

Scope of application

The Mixing/blending components are suitable for stirring, mixing, crushing fruit, vegetables, nuts and other kinds of food raw materials and condiments. Make all kinds of fruit juice, crushed ice, milkshakes, beverage, seasoning liquor, soup, porridge, paste, juice, sauce etc. Can also be used to mix ingredients for health and beauty, such as face mask, etc.

Tips For Use

1. If you want to quickly process the ingredients, you can press P button (pulse). Release the button to stop.

2. If you want to do milk-shake or smoothie, you can press the milkshake button. Press twice to stop.

3. If you want to crush ice, you can press ice button. To stop, press twice.

Note: if you want to crush the ice to snowflake form, you should choose the highest speed or continually press the P button for a few seconds. If the ice is still very thick, can press the P button to crush again.

Cleaning

1. Close the machine and unplug the power plug.

2. All removable parts must be removed before cleaning.

Quick Clean Mixing Jar

1. Fill the jug halfway with water, then add a few drops of washing up liquid.

2. Turn control knob switch to ON, then press the P button several times in a row.

3. Remove the mixing jar and empty it, wash down with tap water.

Tips: All removable parts are (excluding the motor base) is dishwasher safe.

Note: please don't use steel wool/wire, corrosive cleaning solvents or corrosive solution to clean.

Green Smoothie

• 1 banana, sliced
  • 150g (5 oz) green grapes
  • 1 (200g) tub vanilla yoghurt
  • 1/2 apple, cored and chopped
  • 50g (2 oz) fresh spinach leaves

Classic Strawberry Smoothie

• 8 strawberries, hulled
• 110ml (4 fl oz) skimmed milk
• 120g (4 oz) low-fat plain yoghurt
• 3 tablespoons demerara sugar
• 1 to 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 6 cubes ice, crushed

Mango and Passion fruit Smoothie

• 400g/14oz peeled and chopped ripe mango
- 2 x 125g pots fat-free mango yogurt
• 250ml skimmed milk
- juice 1 lime
• 4 passion fruits, halved

Green tea, Blueberry and Banana Smoothie

• 3 Tbsp water
- 1 green tea bag
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 12 c frozen blueberries
- 12 med banana
• 34 c calcium fortified light vanilla soy milk

Blender does not work	Please check whether the jug is fitted securely to the motor base. If it is not, then the blender will not switch on. Also check if unit is plugged into mains socket
Motor device emits a burning smell when in use	As this blender is brand new from the factory and never used, a slight odor or smoke smell emitting is a normal phenomenon. fter using a few times this will disappear.
Jar Leakage	Shut down, move the jar to pour out of the raw material, then counterclockwise to unscrew the blade device. Check whether the seal is correctly installed in the stirring knife base device.
Can I boil soup?	This blender can be used to make soup. However it is very important that you allow the jug to cool down before washing with warm water, NOT cold.
Is the blender dishwasher-safe?	Do not use the dishwasher for the following: Motor Base, Blade and ring seal. Only the glass jar and lid are dishwasher safe.
I was using the blender for a while until is suddenly stopped?	To prolong the working life of the machine, the motor a over-heat temperature protection feature. Once the motor runs for a long time and heats up as a result, it will automatically power off. After the machine stops working, you must unpin the plug and wait for the motor to cool down before using again. Cooldown time is 60 mins.
