To reconnect the guide rail firmly to the device after insertion, push the safety button on the right side of the device (equivalent to point 1) back in.

Application Correct handling Keep your hands away from the sawing area. Do not reach under the workpiece. Contact with the saw blade can cause injury. Only place the machine on the workpiece when it is switched on. Otherwise, there is a risk of kickback if the saw blade jams in the workpiece. When sawing, the footplate (fig. 1 point 2) must always rest against the workpiece. The saw blade can jam and cause loss of control of the machine. When the cut is finished, switch off the machine and do not pull the saw blade out of the cut until it comes to a standstill. In this way, you can avoid setbacks, and the machine can be safely removed. Only use undamaged saw blades that are in perfect condition. Bent or dull saw blades can break, negatively affect the cut or lead to kickbacks.12

Do not break the saw blade by pressing sideways. The saw blade may be damaged, break, or cause kickback. Clamp the material to be sawn well. Under no circumstances should you support the workpiece with hands or feet. Do not touch objects or the floor with the running saw - there is a risk of kickback Use suitable detectors to determine whether there are supply lines in the working area. Contact with electrical wires can cause fire or electric shock, and damage to a gas line can cause an explosion. Penetration into a water pipe causes damage to property. Always hold the device with both hands when working and ensure that it stands securely. The power tool should be held securely in both hands. A workpiece under tension can cause kickbacks. Use suitable devices or a vice to secure the workpieces. Always wait for the machine to stop completely before putting it down. Do not open the battery - there is a risk of short circuit.

Only use original FUXTEC lithium-ion batteries with the voltage indicated on the type plate of your power tool. Using other batteries may cause injury and fire. Hint: Using batteries that are not suitable for the machine may cause malfunction or damage to the power tool. The charged battery must be inserted into the socket of the power tool until it clicks into place and is securely locked. Switching on and off: Switch on the power tool, first press the locking button (fig. 1, point 7) on the right or left. Then press the on/off switch (fig. 1, item 6) and keep it pressed. The saw is running. To switch off the device, simply release the on/off switch. For safety reasons, the on/off switch cannot be locked; you must keep it pressed during the entire process. To save energy, only switch on the power tool when you are using it. Hint: The lithium-ion battery is protected against deep discharge by the "Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)." If the battery is empty, the machine is switched off by a safety device. The saw blade then no longer moves. In this case, do not press the on/off switch repeatedly. This may damage the battery.13

Tips for the working process When sawing lightweight construction materials, the legal regulations and the recommendations of the material manufacturer must be followed. Check wood, pressboard, building materials, etc. for foreign objects such as nails, screws, or similar and always use the correct saw blade. Switch the machine on and move it towards the workpiece. Position the footplate on the surface of the workpiece and use even contact pressure when sawing. After finishing the operation, switch off the machine. If the saw blade jams, switch off the machine immediately. Widen the gap slightly with a suitable tool and then pull out the machine.
