OPERATION

1. Fill the measuring cup with water, according to the number of eggs and cooking time required.

The numbers 1-7 on the measuring cup indicate the number of eggs to be cooked.

Use the the Soft scale to make soft-boiled eggs, Medium for medium-boiled eggs and Hard for hard-boiled eggs.

1. Pour the appropriate amount of water into the hotplate.

2. To avoid the eggs cracking during cooking, pierce a small hole in the rounded end of each egg, using the egg piercing tool at the bottom of the measuring cup.

3. Place the eggs in the tray and then place the tray on the hotplate.

1. Put the lid on.

2. Plug in and switch on the power. The indicator lamp lights up and the appliance begins to cook the eggs.

3. When all the water has evaporated, the eggs are ready. The thermostat inside the appliance switches off the appliance. You will hear a buzz.

4. Remove the plug from the mains socket. Carefully remove the lid.

The appliance is still very hot. Remove the tray from the hotplate and cool the eggs immediately. If not, they will continue to cook.

NOTE! Take care when using the egg piercing tool and the tray – the egg piercing tool is very sharp.

CLEANING

Unless clearly specified in the below cleaning instructions, please note that none of the parts of this appliance are dishwasher safe.

When cleaning the appliance, you should pay attention to the following points:

• Remove plug from the mains socket, and allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it.
• Never submerge the base of the appliance, cord or plug in water. Never allow water to seep into the base.
• To clean the hotplate and base, wipe with a damp cloth. A little detergent can be added if the appliance is heavily soiled.

• To remove lime deposits from the hotplate, use ordinary household vinegar and water (1 part vinegar to 10 parts water). Pour the solution onto the hotplate and leave to stand for approximately 30 minutes. Then pour away the solution. Then wipe the hotplate with a damp cloth.
• Do not use scouring pads, steel wool or any form of strong solvents or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance, as they may damage the outside surfaces of the appliance.
• Ensure the appliance is clean and dry before storing.

IMPORTANT! Allow the appliance to dry fully after cleaning before using again.
