How to install the EMRH908TX hood?

Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional. The hood is fixed to the wall using the supplied plugs. Provide an exhaust duct of diameter 150 mm for extraction mode. In recirculation mode, install a charcoal filter. Maintain a minimum distance of 65 cm between the hood and an electric hob, 75 cm for a gas hob.

How to clean the hood's grease filters?

The aluminum grease filters can be washed in the dishwasher at 65°C or by hand with hot water and detergent. Let them dry completely before reinstalling. This should be done every 2 months under normal use.

Is a charcoal filter required for recirculation?

Yes, if the hood is not connected to an external extractor, it operates in recirculation mode. You must then install a charcoal filter (model FCA908). This filter should be replaced every 6 to 12 months depending on usage.

What to do if the hood does not turn on?

First check the power supply: plug, fuse, circuit breaker. If the light works but the motor does not, the motor may be blocked or the capacitor defective. Contact after-sales service.

How to set the automatic shut-off timer?

Press the timer button (clock): the hood will automatically stop after 10 minutes. You can set up to 15 minutes by pressing multiple times. The timer is ideal to leave the hood running after cooking.

What is the maximum suction power?

In extraction mode, the maximum airflow is 650 m³/h. In recirculation mode, it is 510 m³/h due to the charcoal filter resistance. Use the boost mode for temporary intensive suction.

How to replace the LED bulb?

The LED bulbs are integrated and cannot be replaced individually. In case of failure, contact after-sales service for replacement of the lighting module.

The hood makes noise, is this normal?

The sound level is normal depending on speed. At speed 1: 45 dB(A), speed 2: 55 dB(A), speed 3: 65 dB(A). Ensure filters are clean and the exhaust duct is not blocked. Abnormal noise may indicate a motor problem.

What are important safety precautions?

Never flambé under the hood. Ensure adequate ventilation if the hood is used simultaneously with combustion appliances. Disconnect the appliance before any cleaning. Do not use the hood without a grease filter.
