OIL FILLED RADIATOR WITH FAN HEATER
ENGLISH: SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The following are important notes on the installation, use and maintenance; save this instruction manual for future reference; use the equipment only as specified in this guide; any other use is considered improper and dangerous; therefore, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible in the event of damages caused by improper, incorrect or unreasonable use. Before use, ensure the equipment is undamaged; if in10 doubt, do not attempt to use it and contact the authorized service center; do not leave packing materials (i.e. plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, staples, etc.) within the reach of children as they are potential sources of danger; always remember that they must be separately collected. Make sure that the rating information given on the technical label are compatible with those of the electricity grid; the installation must be performed according to the manufacturer's instructions considering the maximum power of the appliance as shown on the label; an incorrect installation may cause damage to people, animals or things, for which the manufacturer cannot be considered responsible thereof. If it is necessary to use adapters, multiple sockets or electrical extensions, use only those that comply with current safety standards; in any case do not exceed the power consumption limits indicated on the electrical adapter and / or extensions, as well as the maximum power shown on multiple adaptor. Do not leave the unit plugged; better to remove the plug from the mains when the device is not in use. Always disconnect from power supply if you leave it unattended. Cleaning operations should be carried out after unplugging the unit. If the unit is out of order and you do not want to fix it, it must be made inoperable by cutting power cord. - Do not allow the power cord to get closer to sharp objects or in contact with hot surfaces; do not pull it to disconnect the plug. - Do not use the appliance in the event of damage to the power cord, plug, or in case of short circuits; to repair the product only address an authorized service center. - Do not handle or touch the appliance with wet hands or bare feet. Do not expose the appliance to harmful11 weather conditions such as rain, moisture, frost, etc.. If the power cord is damaged, or in case of failure and / or malfunction do not tamper with the unit. The reparation must be done by manufacturer or by service center authorized by the manufacturer in order to prevent any risk. Failure to comply with the above may compromise the unit safety and invalidate the warranty.
WARNING: This appliance includes heating function.
Do not cover. Keep space on sides when using. Surfaces, other than functional surfaces may develop high temperatures. Since temperatures are perceived differently by different people, this device should be used with CAUTION. Hold the appliance exclusively to grip surfaces intended to be touched. - Do not subject the product to strong impacts, serious damages may result. - This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops,12 offices and other working environments; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; farm houses, bed and breakfast type environments. - The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system. - Before every use, unroll the power cord. - Use original spare parts and accessories only. - Do not use near or under flammable materials (like curtains), heat, cold spots and steam. GENERAL INFORMATION - Never leave the appliance unattended while it is running. Unplug it after each use. - To unplug the unit, do not pull the power cord. - The appliance must be connected to electrical ground by an earth conductor. Installation must be carried out properly before operating the equipment. - Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids and avoid any splashing of liquids reaching the unit. - Store the product only when it is completely cold. - Before carrying out any cleaning operation, disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet and wait for the complete cooling of each part of the unit. - Before each use, unroll the power cord completely. - Place the unit on solid and stable surfaces. During use, place leave at least half a meter on each side of the unit. - Do not insert anything in the air holes. Not to obstruct them and place the unit half a meter from the surrounding objects. Pay attention: housing becomes hot during use. - Do not use the unit near steam or water (sink, shower, toilet ...). Do not use as a shelf support for objects. - Do not cover for any reason, subject to overheating. - Do not use in rooms smaller than 4 square meters. The product is equipped with an automatic switch-off that comes into play in case of overheating. If the product fails13 during use, check that the ventilation openings are not blocked, unplug the unit and allow to cool down for 15 minutes before operating.
WARNING: Do not use this heater in small rooms
when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided. The appliance must not be placed immediately below a power outlet. This heater is filled with a precise quantity of special oil. Repairs requiring opening of the oil container are only to be made by the manufacturer of his service agent who should be contacted if there is an oil leakage. Regulations concerning the disposal of the oil when scrapping the appliance have to be followed. Dispose of the oil in the radiator according to the specific national guidelines and EU regulations. DESCRIPTION G60028 1 Function knob 2 Thermostat control knob 3 Handle 4 oil fins (9 elements) 5 Steering wheels 6 Cable reel 7 Timer 8 Working light 9 Integrated fan heater ASSEMBLY The oil radiator is supplied assembled except for the wheels, which should be installed by the user. Follow the directions below in order to complete installation. Remove radiator and all accessories from color-box. Remove all packaging materials (plastic bags, stickers, tags) from unit. - Turn the product upside down as shown in Figure 1. - Mount the 4 wheels to the 2 bars included, inserting the shafts of the wheels in the holes of the bars, and fixing with the nuts. Place the 2 bars near the last external heating elements (see Fig. 2 for reference). - Fasten the bars to the unit using the two U bolts and tighten the unit carefully by using the provided screws (Fig. 3). Rotate the appliance again. CONTROL KNOBS Turn the temperature control knob (2) clockwise to increase the temperature to be reached before shutting off the heater. The function selection control knob (1) has the following modes: O: means the unit is off I: only oil heater low power 800W II: only oil heater medium power 1050W III: only oil heater high power 1850W : only fan heater 400W I: fan heater 400W + oil heater 800W II: fan heater 400W + oil heater 1050W III: fan heater 400W + oil heater 1850W14 OPERATION CAUTION: This equipment is not protected from water. Do not use it outdoor, prevent leakage, humidity, splashes of water from reaching the unit. Place the unit at 1 meter (at least) from the walls, furniture, curtains, electrical appliances, plants and home accessories. Check that the power controls (1) and the thermostat control knob (2) are in "0" position before connecting the appliance to the electrical outlet. Unwind the power cord and connect the plug to a compatible power outlet. To switch on: o Select the function mode with the knob (1). o Set the timer (7) as described in next paragraph. o Rotate the thermostat knob (2) clockwise to the maximum level.
WARNING: Do not cover the appliance during use. Risk of fire!
Once you have finished using the unit, turn off the appliance with the knob (1). Then unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and roll it around the hook (7). CAUTION: Wait until the product is completely cool before storing the unit. TEMPERATURE SETTING Operate the unit by switching the temperature control knob (2) to the highest position until the desired temperature in the room is reached. Turn the temperature control knob (2) counterclockwise until you turn off the product, then it will turn on periodically to maintain the temperature. WORKING LIGHT The unit is equipped with a red working lamp (8) which lights on when the appliance is running.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION DEVICE
If you cover the device or there is a malfunction, the product may overheat. A safety device will shut down the unit to prevent overheating. Remove anything blocking the ventilation slots and wait for the complete cooling of the unit, then the appliance works normally. TIMER The timer is always active, and controls the switch on and off of the appliance based on its setting Once you set the desired temperature by adjusting the thermostat (refer to the "SETTING TEMPERATURE" paragraph), use the lever (10) to determine the hours of the day when you want to turn on the heater.
1) Align the pointer drawn on the timer dial with the current time.
2) Set the hours of the day when you want the unit remains off, leading towards the center of the dial the
red seats corresponding to the hours.
3) Every time you disconnect the unit, the pointer must be placed back on the current time.
CLEANING Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and allow the unit to cool down before cleaning. - Do not immerse the unit in water. In any case, avoid splashing of water or other liquids reaching the appliance. Do not clean with a sponge or abrasive cleaners as they may damage the unit body. - Clean the main body with a slightly damp sponge and dry thoroughly all over with a soft dry cloth. Frequently clean the 2 ventilation slits at the sides of the product and the 9 heating elements (4) to prevent dirt from clogging the airflow. TECHNICAL FEATURES
