How do I pair my phone with the Laney F67-SUPERGROUP speaker?

Press the PAIR button (1) for one second. The blue LED will flash slowly. On your phone, select 'LANEY SOUND SYSTEMS'. The LED turns solid blue when pairing is successful.

Can I connect multiple devices via Bluetooth simultaneously?

Yes, the speaker can connect multiple devices. If a pairing has already been made, it will automatically accept subsequent connections. The device playing audio becomes priority and the blue LED will blink intermittently.

How do I delete all paired devices?

Press and hold the PAIR button for 10 seconds. The speaker will then forget all previously connected devices.

How do I charge the speaker?

Plug in the AC adapter. If the speaker is off, the red LED will be solid. If it is on, make sure the power switch is on before plugging in. Slow flashing (2 times/sec) indicates a charging problem.

Can I use the speaker while charging?

Yes, turn the main switch to On, then plug in the power. The red LED will be solid. The speaker operates normally during charging.

How do I use the auxiliary input?

Plug a 3.5mm jack cable into the AUX IN (6) jack and the other end into your audio device. Sound will be played through the speaker.

Can I charge my phone via the speaker's USB port?

Yes, the USB port (7) can charge an external device like a smartphone. Simply plug in your USB cable.

What is the maximum power of the speaker?

The output power is 160 W peak, 80 W continuous, and 2 x 20 W RMS, offering a maximum sound level of 105 dB.

How do I clean the speaker?

Use a soft dry cloth. Do not use liquid or abrasive cleaners. Never expose the speaker to water.

What if the blue LED does not light up during pairing?

Make sure the speaker is on. If the LED is off, no device is connected. Press PAIR to enter pairing mode. If the problem persists, reset by holding PAIR for 10 seconds.

OPERATION

POWERING ON

• Turn volume (3) down.
• Throw the power switch (9).
• Press the PAIR (1) button – follow the instructions detailed below.
• Connect to LANEY SOUND SYSTEMS on your device.
  •Play Music.

PAIRING

• If the blue pair led is not illuminated then no device is connected to the LANEY SOUND SYSTEMS F67.
  • In order to pair your device, follow the procedure detailed below.
• Press and hold the pair button (1) until the blue LED starts to flash slowly.
  • Pairing mode times out after one minute.
• On your device search for LANEY SOUND SYSTEMS and connect. The led will change to continuous blue when connected.
• Note, you cannot start a new pairing request whilst a device is already connected, you must first disconnect the first device and then start pairing.
  •The LANEY SOUND SYSTEMS F67 allows multiple devices to connect to it. If you have previously connected, it should accept a connection request.
• If you start playing a song, it will take over from the currently connected device. The pair led will change to an intermittent blue flash when multiple devices are connected.

- Pressing and holding the pair button for 10 seconds forces the LANEY SOUND SYSTEMS F67 to forget all the devices currently connected.

PLAYING TRACKS

• When your device is connected. You can quickly tap the PAIR (1) button to play/pause the currently selected track. The led will briefly blink red/blue
• When there is a track playing, you can double tap the pair button to skip to the next track.

AUX IN (6)

- Use the provided 1/8" aux cable to connect your device to your AUX IN input.

CHARGING YOUR DEVICE (7)

• You can use your LANEY SOUND SYSTEMS F67 player straight out of the box, but it is recommended that you give it a full 8 hours charge before you use it the first time in order to get optimum battery life.
• You can also use the LANEY SOUND SYSTEMS F67 as a powerbank to charge your device using the USB port.

CHARGING YOUR BLUETOOTH SPEAKER

•The power led defaults to blue when powered on and using the internal battery. The led will start flashing as the battery runs low to indicate it should be charged soon. The led flashes progressively slower as the battery is nearing exhaustion and should be charged.

•To charge while not using the speaker. Make sure the power switch is set to off, then insert the included 12V power supply into the charging socket (10) on the rear of the unit. The led changes to a constant red colour while charging. When charging is complete (around four hours) the led will go off.
•To charge while using the speaker. Make sure the power switch is set to on, then insert the included 12V power supply into the charging socket (10) on the rear of the unit. The led changes to a constant purple colour while charging. When charging is complete (around four-five hours, depending on speaker volume) the led will change to Blue. Note, if the power led is flashing while plugged in, it is not in charge mode. Make sure the unit was turned on prior to plugging the PSU in.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

In order to take full advantage of your new product and enjoy long and trouble-free performance, please read this owner's manual carefully, and keep it in a safe place for future reference.

1) Unpacking: On unpacking your product please check carefully for any signs of damage that may have occurred whilst in transit from the Laney factory to your dealer. In the unlikely event that there has been damage, please re-pack your unit in its original carton and consult your dealer. We strongly advise you to keep your original transit carton, since in the unlikely event that your unit should develop a fault, you will be able to return it to you dealer for rectification securely packed.
2) Amplifier Connection: In order to avoid damage, it is advisable to establish and follow a pattern for turning on and off your system. With all system parts connected, turn on source equipment, tape decks, cd players, mixers, effects processors etc, BEFORE turning on your amplifier. Many products have large transient surges at turn on and off which can cause damage to your speakers. By turning on your bass amplifier LAST and making sure its level control is set to a minimum, any transients from other equipment should not reach your loud speakers. Wait till all system parts have stabilised, usually a couple of seconds. Similarly when turning off your system always turn down the level controls on your bass amplifier and then turn off its power before turning off other equipment
3) Cables: Never use shielded or microphone cable for any speaker connections as this will not be substantial enough to handle the amplifier load and could cause damage to your complete system.
4) Servicing: The user should not attempt to service these products. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
