Drink Mixer

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

  4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

  11. Cup must be properly in place before operating appliance.

  13. Do not use outdoors.
  14. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces, including stove.
  15. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  16. Do not use appliance for other than intended purpose.
  17. Check that the appliance is OFF (before plugging cord into wall outlet. To disconnect, turn the control to OFF (then remove plug from wall outlet. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.

  1. Make sure Drink Mixer is set to OFF (Plug into outlet. Place ingredients to be mixed in Cup and insert Mixing Shaft until it snaps into place.

  1. Place Cup onto Drink Mixer, making certain Cup's top edge is behind Cup Support and Cup bottom is on Cup Rest.

  1. Move Control Switch to desired speed to process. Start with 1 (low) speed; then increase to 2 (high) speed if desired. For hard ice cream or very thick shakes, remove Cup from Rest and Support. With Mixing Shaft still submerged in mixture, move Cup around for more thorough mixing.

  1. When finished, turn unit to OFF (Φ and tilt Head up. Remove Cup, pour contents from Cup, and serve.

Tips

  • Cup must always be filled to at least minimum 4 oz (118 mL) mark for liquids to reach Mixing Shift. Do not fill above maximum 12 oz (355 mL) mark or liquid may overflow while mixing.
  • This Drink Mixer is great for mixing protein drinks. Syrups and powders should be added just before mixing to prevent sinking to bottom of Cup.

  • Most drinks can be mixed in less than 2 minutes.

  • If using fresh fruit, always mash or puree before adding to ingredients in Cup.
  • All liquids should be as cold as possible for a thicker and more frothy drink.
  • Drink Mixer is not designed to crush ice.

Care and Cleaning

  1. Make sure Drink Mixer is unplugged and Control Switch is set to OFF (Q) To remove Mixing Shaft, tilt Head up and pull Mixing Shaft straight down.

⚠ WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard. Do not immerse drink mixer, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.

  1. To clean Base, wipe with damp cloth or sponge. Do not use abrasive cleansers of any kind.
  2. Cup and Mixing Shaft are dishwasher-safe on top rack. DO NOT use "SANITIZE" setting when washing in dishwasher. SANITIZE cycle temperatures could damage your product.

Recipes

Always add liquid ingredients first, then remaining ingredients. Follow directions for "How to Use" on page 5, starting to mix on 1 (low) and gradually increasing speed to 2 (high).

Strawberry Banana Milkshake

Ingredients:

1/2 cup (118 mL) milk
1 banana, mashed or pureed
2 scoops (about 1 cup [237 mL]) strawberry ice cream
1 tablespoon (15 mL) strawberry syrup

Grown-Up Mocha Shake

Ingredients:

1/4 cup (59 mL) milk
1/4 cup (59 mL) coffee-flavored liqueur
2 scoops (about 1 cup [237 mL]) chocolate ice cream

Cookies and Cream Shake

Ingredients:

1/2 cup (118 mL) milk
2 scoops (about 1 cup [237 mL]) vanilla ice cream
1 tablespoon (15 mL) chocolate syrup
3 chocolate sandwich cookies, finely crushed

Peanut Butter Banana Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup (237 mL) coconut milk
1/8 teaspoon (0.6 mL) vanilla extract
3 tablespoons (44 mL) smooth peanut butter
2 teaspoons (10 mL) honey or maple syrup
1 ripe banana, mashed or pureed
Pinch salt, if desired

Directions:

Place all ingredients into Cup in order listed. Mix until desired consistency.

This warranty applies to products purchased and used in the U.S. and Canada. This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition.

This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase in Canada and one (1) year from the date of original purchase in the U.S. During this period, your exclusive remedy is replacement of this product or any component found to be defective, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is unavailable, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value.

This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse. This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser or gift recipient. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim.
