How to change the rotation speed on the Metabo DH52MEY?
The speed is adjusted using the rotation speed selector on the handle. Press it to switch between 4 speeds: 110, 160, 210, and 260 rpm. The change must be made with the motor stopped. The display indicator shows the selected speed.
How to insert a drill bit into the SDS max chuck?
Clean and grease the bit shank with the supplied grease. Insert it into the hole until it stops, then pull back the sliding sleeve while slightly turning the bit until it engages. Release the sleeve and check that it is locked by pulling on it.
What to do if the display indicator flashes?
Flashing indicates an anomaly. Refer to table 2 of the manual: if flashing is slow, the tool is overheating (let it cool for 15-30 min); if fast, there is an overload (release the pressure); if alternating with a fixed bar, check the supply voltage. Press the speed selector to reset.
Can the hammer be used in rotation-only mode?
Yes, by installing a drill chuck and chuck adapter (optional accessories). Set the selector to the 'rotation + percussion' position. This allows drilling metal or wood with standard drill bits.
