Frequently Asked Questions - PRO-DS 200 E Toolson

How to attach the abrasive paper to the sander?
The abrasive paper is easily attached using the Velcro (self-adhesive) system. Make sure the suction holes in the paper match those on the sanding pad for optimal dust extraction.
How to connect a vacuum cleaner to the sander?
Plug the supplied vacuum cleaner adapter into the connection at the rear of the machine, then lock it by turning. Then connect your vacuum cleaner or suitable extraction system.
What type of abrasive paper to use?
Use triangular abrasive sheets matching the pad (90x90x90 mm). The grit depends on the material: coarse grit for roughing, fine grit for finishing. The supplied papers are suitable for common uses.
How to adjust the rotation speed?
Turn the speed regulator on the handle. Turn towards '+' to increase speed (up to 20,000 rpm) and towards '-' to reduce it (minimum 13,000 rpm). Adapt the speed to the material: higher for wood, lower for plastics.
What materials can be sanded with this machine?
The sander is designed for sanding wood, metal, plastics and other similar materials, provided the appropriate abrasive paper is used. It is not suitable for professional or industrial use.
How to clean the sander?
Always unplug the device before cleaning. Use a damp cloth with a little mild soap. Do not use harsh products or solvents. Ensure no water enters the machine to avoid electric shock.
What is the warranty period and what does it cover?
The warranty is 60 months (5 years) from the date of purchase. It covers material or manufacturing defects, excluding wear parts (carbon brushes, sanding pad, abrasive paper) and damage due to improper or professional use.
Can I use the sander for professional work?
No, the PRO-DS 200 E sander is designed for domestic use only. Professional, artisanal or industrial use is excluded from the warranty and exposes to risks of uncovered damage.
What safety equipment is recommended?
Wear safety glasses, a dust mask and hearing protection (earmuffs or earplugs) without fail. The noise level reaches 84 dB(A) and vibrations can be high. Also use gloves if necessary.
How to store the sander when not in use?
Store the device and its accessories in a dark, dry and frost-free place, out of reach of children. The ideal temperature is between 5 and 30 °C. Use the original packaging for protection.
