Frequently Asked Questions - AD811162 MOULINEX

How to assemble the food processor for first use?
Wash the bowl, lid and accessories with soapy water. Place the bowl on the motor unit by turning it to the left until it stops. Put the knife on the drive shaft and clip it, then place the assembly in the bowl. Finally, put the lid on by turning it to the left until it stops. The appliance will only work if the bowl and lid are correctly locked.
Why does my food processor not start?
Check that the bowl and lid are properly locked in place (turned fully to the left). The appliance has a double safety: without bowl or lid correctly positioned, it cannot operate. Also make sure to keep the on/off button pressed continuously.
What types of preparations can I make with this food processor?
You can chop (meat, onions, garlic, parsley, almonds, etc.), knead doughs (bread, pizza, cake), blend soups or baby food, and make recipes like hummus, bolognese sauce or pound cake. The operating time is short (10 to 30 seconds per step).
What is the maximum amount of food to put in the bowl?
For liquids, do not exceed the max level (0.6 L). For solids, follow the guidelines: for example, 200 g of meat or onions, 250 g of flour for dough. The bowl markings are indicative and account for the volume occupied by the knife.
How to easily clean the bowl after use?
Pour a glass of water and a few drops of dish soap into the bowl, then run the appliance for 5 to 10 seconds with the knife. Rinse under the tap. The bowl, lid and knife can also go in the dishwasher (top basket, Eco program).
Is the knife dangerous?
Yes, the blades are very sharp. Handle with care during use and cleaning. Do not leave it soaking in the sink. Wait for the knife to stop completely before opening the lid.
Can I leave the food processor plugged in all the time?
No, it is essential to unplug the appliance after each use, before cleaning or in case of malfunction. Never pull on the cord to unplug it. If the cable is damaged, have it replaced by the manufacturer or a professional.
What precautions to take for liquid preparations?
Do not exceed the max level indicated on the bowl. Use the pulse function to avoid overflowing. For soups, the maximum quantity is 0.6 L with a mixing time of 15 seconds.
Is the food processor suitable for kneading bread dough?
Yes, it can knead up to 250 g of flour for bread or pizza dough. The kneading time is about 10 seconds. Then remove the dough and let it rest for 1 hour before baking.
How to prevent food from sticking to the walls?
If pieces stick (meat, onions), stop the appliance, scrape them off with a spatula, distribute them in the bowl and do 2 to 3 additional pulses. Work in pulses for better control.
