The following are important notes on the installation, use and maintenance; save this instruction manual for future reference; use the equipment only as specified in this guide; any other use is considered improper and dangerous; therefore, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible in the event of damages caused by improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.

Before use, ensure the equipment is undamaged; if in doubt, do not attempt to use it and contact the authorized service center; do not leave packing materials (i.e. plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, staples, etc.) within the reach of children as they are potential sources of danger; always remember that they must be separately collected. Make sure that the rating information given on the technical label are compatible with those of the electricity grid; the installation must be performed according to the manufacturer's instructions considering the maximum power of the appliance as shown on the label; an incorrect installation may cause damage to people, animals or things, for which the manufacturer cannot be considered responsible thereof.

If it is necessary to use adapters, multiple sockets or electrical extensions, use only those that comply with

WARNING: do not use the hair dryer inside the bathtub, under the shower or inside the shower box. If it falls in water, do not pick it up and immediately disconnect the power plug. Avoid ashing of water. If you face one of these problem, more operating it any further, bring the device to authorized service center; it must be checked by qualified personnel.

  • Before using, fully charge the hair-clipper, leaving it connected to the charger for about 2 hours.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
  • Use extreme caution when using: do not use in a state of sleepiness and perform delicate movements. Do not use on wigs or irritated skin.
  • Do not use the clipper for more than 10 minutes continuously and allow to completely cool down for at least 5 minutes.

  • Power off the device while changing attachment.

  • Clean and lubricate the clipper regularly to ensure better performance and longer life.
  • Never leave unattended while it is running.
  • Do not wrap the power cord around the unit during use.
  • If the adaptor breaks or gets lost, contact an authorized service center for replacement.

Pay attention to the features of the adaptor, if you decide to change it. An incorrect voltage may damage the motor and jeopardize the functionality of the device.

OPERATING

The hair clipper can be recharged using the adaptor and it can be used both weather it is connected to the adaptor or not.

WARNING: if during battery working the appliance stop working, put switch (4) in OFF position, connect adaptor (11) to power supply and pin (12) to connector (6). Wait one minute before starting again operation. HOW TO USE

- Keeping off the unit, mount one of the supplied combs (7). Choose the attachment depending on the length you wish to obtained (see figure below).

- If you want to obtain a shorter cut, between 0.8mm and 2mm, use the clipper without any comb (7), but with the supplied comb. If so, set the cutting height using the regulator (3).

- Turn on the clipper and start cutting.

- Once finished cutting operation, turn off the device using the power button (4), remove any comb and store the clipper and its accessories out of the reach of children.

RECHARGING

CAUTION: to recharge the clipper, only use the adaptor supplied.

If the adaptor gets lost or damaged, contact an authorized service center and do not use any other adaptor which may damage the internal battery and jeopardize the functionality of the device. When you first use the product fully charge it, leaving it connected to the charger for at least 2 hours.

Plug the power adaptor (11) to the power outlet and the connection pin (12) into the socket on the rear of product (6). During charging operation, the LED (5) is red. When battery is fully charged, it becomes blue.

The following measures will preserve the battery life.

Before first use, charge the battery by leaving the hair clipper connected to the adapter for about 2 hours.

Before you recharged, completely discharged the battery.

When the unit is not in use for a long period (2 months), it is recommended to let it charge for about 2 hours before using. In any case it is advisable to fully discharged the battery before recharging.

If the appliance, even after a recharge, works only if it is connected to the adapter, it is possible that the battery is no longer capable of delivering enough power to the unit. In this case, please contact an authorized service center.

Disconnect the clipper from the power adaptor, and unplug it from the power outlet before starting any cleaning operations.

After each cut, always clean used comb (7) and cutting blade (1) by blowing over them or using the small brush (9). Periodically lubricate the blade by following the steps below.

Open the flap (2) placed beneath the cutting blade, pushing the blade as shown in figure below. Remove remaining hair by blowing or using the small brush (9).

Use lubricating oil (10) for the blade. 2 or 3 drops are enough if this operation is carried out frequently.

As shown in the figure, two points must be lubricated with oil:

Put 1-2 drops on the blade (white ceramic). Put 1-2 drops on the driveshaft joint.

Use only the provided oil or similar oil without acids.

- CAUTION: before assembling the cover, bring the cutting height regulator (3) at 2 mm, as the assembling is easier in this way.

- Insert the tab (B) in the joint (A), as shown in fig. 1.

- Push the door (2) towards the clipper body until it clicks in position (fig. 2)

Clean the main body by using a soft damp cloth, never immerse the unit in water or other liquids.
