How to load paper in tray 1?
Pull the tray toward you, fan the paper, then insert it aligning the width and length guides. Reinsert the tray until it stops. For details, refer to the Loading Paper section of the manual.
How to replace the toner cartridge?
Open the front cover, remove the old cartridge by pulling it, then insert the new one pushing firmly until it clicks. Close the cover. The manual provides precise steps in the Replacing the Toner Cartridge section.
What to do in case of a paper jam?
The screen displays the jam location. Open the indicated covers, gently remove the jammed paper without tearing. Refer to the Clearing Paper Jams section for detailed procedures by location.
How to scan a document to a shared folder on my PC?
Ensure the shared folder is created and the firewall is configured. On the machine, press Send, then select Path Entry or the address book. Enter the SMB path of the folder. For more info, see Sending to PC in the manual.
How to configure Wi-Fi network?
Go to System Menu/Counter > System/Network > Optional Network > Wireless Network. Enable Wi-Fi, select your network, enter the password. For more details, refer to the Wireless Network Setup section.
How to print double-sided?
In the print settings from your computer, select Duplex in the Finishing tab. You can choose Long Edge Binding or Short Edge Binding. The machine then automatically prints on both sides.
How to use the ID card copy function?
Place the card on the exposure glass, then press ID Card Copy on the touch screen. Scan the front, flip the card, then scan the back. The machine combines both sides onto one sheet. See ID Card Copy in the manual.
How to clean the exposure glass?
Turn off the machine and unplug it. Use a soft cloth slightly dampened (water or mild cleaner) to wipe the glass. Dry with a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners. More info in the Cleaning section of the manual.
How to add a destination in the address book?
From the home screen, press System Menu/Counter > Edit Destination > Address Book. Select Add, choose the type (E-mail, FTP, etc.), then enter the information. Confirm to save. See Adding a Destination.
How to save energy with this copier?
The machine has several functions: Low Power Mode (reduces power after inactivity), Sleep and Auto Sleep. You can schedule sleep times via Weekly Timer Settings. The Motion Sensor automatically wakes the machine when approached. Configure these options in Date/Timer/Energy Saving.
