Please note the included General Safety Notes and the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
- Only use the air wash gun for domestic purposes. The tool is not designed for continuous, professional use.
- Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
- Only use the tool according to this instruction manual and for the intended use.
- Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to use the air tool, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a qualified person.
- Keep the air wash gun out of reach of children.
- The air tool may only be operated by competent persons. Unintended use or modifications of any kind can lead to injuries or to damage to property.
- Observe all local and national process specifications and requirements of the authorities and professional associations with regard to ventilation, firefighting, operations and general practices in the workplace.
- Always use the compressed air tool with the necessary care and caution and protect yourself and others form accidents by taking suitable precautions.
- Never aim the air tool at yourself, other persons or animals.
- For your own safety always use the quick coupling adaptor to connect the air tool to the air supply and always regulate the working pressure by using a pressure regulator. Do not exceed the max. permitted working air pressure of 8 bar.
- Never use oxygen or flammable gases as source of energy.
- Check if all connections and hoses are mechanically secured and if they are functioning properly. Loose hoses may cause severe injuries. Only use quick coupling adaptors.
Safety Notes
- Disconnect the air tool from the compressed air source before doing any maintenance work or when not in use.
- Do not modify the air tool in any way and do not use it for any unintended use. Only use original accessory and original replacement parts. Not recommended accessory can bear a risk of danger.
- Only use the air wash gun outdoors or in sufficiently ventilated rooms.
- Depending on the sprayed material, it is required to wear personal protective equipment. Toxic fumes and certain materials can be poisonous. Those materials may create irritation or be otherwise harmful to health. Follow the recommendations shown on the signs or written on the

data sheets. Depending on the sprayed material, wear respiratory protection, protective gloves and protective clothing. The safety class of the system has to be in accordance with the processed material. Always wear protective gloves when cleaning the spray gun.
- Please keep in mind that air tools may cause strong vibrations which can lead to repetitive strain injuries in some cases.
- Solvents and coating materials can be easily inflammable or combustible if they are spilled or sprayed. Always follow the warnings and safety information of the paint or solvent manufacturers.
- Do not continue using a damaged air tool. Do not open the unit and do not try to repair it yourself. In case of questions or problems contact or our customer service.

- The compressed air wash gun is suitable for cleaning work with water, cold cleaning solvents, soap suds, oil, etc. using an appropriate material container (e.g. bucket, can, etc.) or a water hose. For example, it can be used to clean car body parts, motor parts, gear boxes, etc. Note that abrasive, acid and fuel-containing materials must not be processed.
- The intended use also includes an operation following the operating instructions.
- Any use beyond these parameters (different media, applying force) or any changes (reconstruction, no original accessory) can lead to serious risks and is regarded as use that is contrary to the intended purpose.
Before first Use
Unpack the air wash gun and check all parts for any damage in transit. Dispose of packaging materials or store it out of reach of children. Plastic bags etc. may become a deadly toy for children.
Working Principle
The compressed air wash gun operates on the suction principle. The compressed air, which delivers the spraying material, is connected to the air inlet and is lead through the gun body. The air passes the nozzle when pressing the trigger. An underpressure is generated by the high air flow speed. As a result, the spraying material is drawn and delivered and atomised at the same time.
Operation
- Before starting to work, check the trigger (4) to make sure it moves freely.
- Pour the material to be sprayed into a suitable container (bucket, can, etc.) and connect the suction opening (3) using a flexible hose with this container. If necessary secure the flexible hose with a hose clamp or use a quick coupling adaptor.
- Connect the air wash gun via the quick coupling adaptor (6) to the compressed air supply. The air should be regulated and filtered. Setup
Operation
the air pressure according to the parameters supplied with the material to be processed and according to the technical data sheet.
- Pay attention to the air hose while operating the air wash gun. Hold the hose with one hand while you are operating the air wash gun with the other hand. The hose must not be bent and do not step on it.
- Press the trigger (4) to operate the air wash gun and to distribute the spraying material. Release the trigger to stop working.
- Turn the adjusting nut (2) clockwise or counter clockwise to change the spraying strength and to adjust it according to the respective application.
Notes
- Perform test runs on some test pieces. This way you can determine the optimum spraying strength resp. the different jet adjustments.
- Increase the distance to the object to be sprayed in order to achieve a wider atomisation when spraying. By doing so, a more evenly spraying result can be obtained.
- Keep the suction opening clean at all times.
- Do not process any abrasive, acid and fuel-containing materials.
- Only use solvent-resistant and pressure-resistant air hoses (min. 10 bar).
Cleaning and Maintenance
- To ensure proper functionality and a long lifetime, diligent maintenance is essential.
■ Before cleaning or maintaining, first disconnect the air wash gun from the air supply. - Depending on the sprayed material, rinse the air wash gun with thinner or cleaning agents after use. By spraying a small amount of detergent, the used suction hose, the nozzle and the spraying tube can be cleaned from inside.
- Do not use abrasive or aggressive chemicals such as benzene or thinner to clean the housing of the tool which may dissolve plastic parts.
Operation
- For operating pneumatic tools, clean air is required. Corrosion residues, dust and dirt from the pneumatic pipes reduce the efficiency of the tool and will cause technical problems. An upstream maintenance unit consisting of filter and pressure regulator valve removes moisture and dirt from the air and controls the working pressure. Do not use an oil-fog lubricator.
- If possible, only use compressed air hoses for the air supply that previously have not been used with other air tools which required an oil-fog lubrication system.
- Do not allow liquids to enter the air tool and never immerse them into liquids. Water in the compressed air inlet can damage the machine. Therefore it is recommended to drain the air lines and the compressor in regular intervals! Also clean the air filters in regular intervals.
- Oil or lubricate the moving parts of the air wash gun's trigger mechanism in regular intervals.
Air Pressure and Air Volume
- Operate the air tool with a pressure of 4 – 7 bar. When using higher pressure than the max. permitted pressure of 8 bar for operating the air tool, its self life will be reduced drastically. Operate the air tool using a compressor with an air suction capacity of at least 100 l/min. The ideal capacity is provided by compressors with a suction capacity of 150 – 200 l/min.
- Only use air hoses with an inner diameter of at least 9 mm. When setting up the air pressure, always keep in mind that the pressure will decrease by approx. 0.6 bar when using a 10 m long hose with an inner diameter of 9 mm.
Storing
- Store the air wash gun and the accessory indoors in a dust and dirt-free location.
