ENGLISH IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions. Important : This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and the risks involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised. Never leave the appliance and its cord unsupervised and within reach of children less than 8 years old or irresponsible persons when it is plugged into the wall or when it is cooling down. ❑ Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance. ❑ Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. ❑ From time to time check the appliance and its cord for damages.   • Clean the baking plates with a damp cloth or sponge.
  • Grease the baking plates slightly.
  • Always ensure that no water gets into the device.
  • It is recommended to preheat the appliance for 10 minutes before using it for the first time so that the odor disappears.

  • Use the appliance only for household purposes as specified in the operating instructions.

  • When the waffles are ready, remove them with a wooden or plastic spatula. Do not use sharp, pointed or metal objects, these might damage the non-stick coating of the baking plates.
  • After completing the baking process, unplug the power cord and leave the appliance off to allow the baking plates to cool.

  • Before cleaning, unplug and wait for the appliance to cool down.

  • Wipe the inside and the edges of the baking plates with a paper towel or a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not clean the inside or outside with abrasive scouring pads or metal objects.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  • Grease the device slightly before using it again.
  • For space-saving storage, the egg waffle maker can be stored in upright position.
