How to fill the water tank?

Slide the tank unlocking button upward, remove the tank, open the filling opening, pour water (max level), close and reposition until it clicks.

What type of water to use?

Use tap water or a mixture of 50% tap water + 50% demineralized water. Never use scented water or other liquids.

How to get continuous steam?

Press and hold the steam button and slide the lock button downward. To stop, slide the lock upward and release the steam button.

What to do if the light flashes rapidly?

This indicates a lack of water. Turn off the device, let it cool down, remove the tank and fill it with water as per instructions.

Can I use the device on all fabrics?

Always check the garment care label. The do not iron symbol means the fabric cannot withstand steam. Avoid lingering too long on one area.

How to clean the device?

Turn off and unplug the device, let it cool down. Clean the steam plate and exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergents.

Can steam burn?

Yes, steam is very hot. Never direct steam at people or animals. Always use the handles and let it cool before handling.

How long does it take to heat up?

About 25 seconds. The indicator light flashes during heating and stays solid when ready.

How to use the provided brush?

Attach the brush onto the top of the device (device cold) until it clicks. Use it for thick fabrics, upholstery, or removing pet hair. Remove by lifting the latch after cooling.

What to do in case of malfunction or defect?

Contact DOMO after-sales service at [phone] or by email [e-mail]. Never attempt to repair yourself. The 2-year warranty applies upon presentation of the receipt.

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty. If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it.

The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months.

The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automatically in the following cases:

• If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.
  · In case of incorrect connection, e.g., electrical voltage that is too high.
  · In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.
  · In case of insufficient or incorrect maintenance.
  · In case of repairs or alterations to the device by the consumer or non-authorised third parties.
• If the customer used parts or accessories that are not recommended or provided by the supplier / manufacturer.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following:

• Read all instructions carefully. Keep this manual for future reference.
• Make sure all packaging materials and promotional stickers have been removed before using the appliance for the first time. Make sure children cannot play with the packaging materials.

• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children younger than 16 years.
  · All repairs should be carried out by the manufacturer or its aftersales service.
• Any injury or damage caused by failure to comply with these rules are at your own risk. Neither the manufacturer, importer, or the supplier may be held liable.

▲ELECTRICAL WARNINGS

• In order to avoid a hazard this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer or a separate remote control, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
• The appliance must be disconnected from its power source when not in use, during service and when replacing parts. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance. To disconnect, turn controls to "OFF" or "o" position, then remove the plug from the wall. Never pull the cord or appliance to remove the plug from the socket.
• Check carefully that the voltage and frequency of the power net match the indications on the rating label of the appliance.
• The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is installed and grounded in accordance with all local standards and requirements.
• Do not let the power supply cord hang over the edge of a counter, or touch hot surfaces.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

- Remove all packing materials and carefully clean the appliance and accessories before first use (see Cleaning and maintenance).

- Appliances are tested following production. It is thus perfectly normal if droplets of condensation have formed in the water tank.

USE

- Fill the water reservoir in accordance with the instructions "fill the water reservoir".

- Plug the power cord into a socket. Switch on the device using the on/off button, the temperature indicator light will start flashing to show that the device is heating up. The appliance is ready for use when the light stays on. The appliance is warmed up after about 25 seconds.

· Always check the label with instructions on the item of clothing first.

This symbol means that the item of clothing should not be ironed or steamed.

- To use the steam function, press and hold the steam button. When you release the button, the appliance will stop producing steam.

- If you want constant steam, press and hold the steam button and move the locking button down. To stop steaming, move the locking button up to release the steam button.

· While steaming, it is normal to hear the water being pumped. This can also be felt in the handle.

· To remove wrinkles, press the steam plate against the material while steaming. Move the clothing steamer over the material. Do be careful not to continue to steam the same location for too long.

- CAUTION: always be careful when using the steamer. The appliance and the steam are hot. Never aim steam at people.

If the temperature indication light flashes rapidly, this means that there is no more water in the reservoir. Fill the water reservoir according to the instructions in chapter "Fill the water reservoir".

- Turn the device off using the on/off button and remove the plug from the socket.

- Allow the appliance to cool completely. Remove the water from the reservoir and store the appliance.

FILL THE WATER RESERVOIR

1. Slide the water reservoir release upwards and then remove the reservoir from the device by pulling it towards you.

2. Open the filling opening. Fill the reservoir with water, making sure not to exceed the maximum level. Use only mains water or 50% mains water and 50% de-mineralised water. Do not use perfumed water. Close the filling opening again.

3. Replace the water reservoir in the appliance; you will hear a click.

BRUSH HEAD

The brush head can be used for thicker materials, furniture or removing hairs.

• Attach the brush head when the appliance is cool.
• Place the top of the brush head on the top of the appliance. Then fasten the bottom with a click.
  · Always allow the appliance to cool completely before removing the brush head.
• Remove the brush head by lifting the lid on the top.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Make sure the device is switched off at all times. Remove the plug from the outlet and allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
  · Wipe the steam plate and the exterior of the appliance clean with a moist cloth.
• Never use chemicals, abrasive or corrosive cleaning products.
• Remove the water from the reservoir before storing the appliance.
