Precautions Read the following instructions carefully, since they give you useful safety information about installation, use and maintenan- ce and help you avoid mishaps and possible accidents. Remove the packing and make sure that the appliance is intact, with special attention to the supply cable. The elements of the packing (plastic bags, polystyrene, etc) do not have to be accessible to the children, in order to preserve them from danger sources. It is recommended not to throw these packing ma- terial in the domestic waste, but to deliver them to the appropriate station of collection or destruction refusals, asking eventually infor- mation to the manager of the Sanitation Department of your own mu- nicipality. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac- turer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard. Before connecting the appliance make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the data specied on the label. The appliance can be damaged if the voltage is not correct. If the plug does not suit the socket, let it be replaced with another suitable plug by qualied personnel only, which shall also ensure that the section of the socket cables is suitable for your appliance power absorption. Generally, the use adaptors multiple plugs and/or extensions is not recommended; should they be necessary, please use only simple or multiple adaptors and extensions in compliance with the safety rules in force, making sure that the capacity absorption limit marked on the simple adaptors and the extensions and the maximum power limit marked on the multiple adaptor are not exceeded. Do not use the appliance if the cable or the plug shows any damages. Do not use the appliance after a possible irregular working. In this case, switch it off and do not break it open. Refer to an authorized Beper after-sale service for repair and require original spare parts only. Failing to follow these instructions may impair the safety of your appliance. This appliance is to be destined to its special purpose only. Any other use is to be considered as improper and thus dangerous. This appliance is for household use only. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or any parts of the appliance into water or other uids. Do not use the appliance near explosives, highly ammable mate- rials, gases or burning ames. Do not allow children, disabled people or every pe- ople without experience or technical ability to use the appliance if they are not properly watched over. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance used by or near children. Use advice Place the toaster on a stable and cleaned surface. Do not use the toaster in presence of inammable gaz and keep away from heat sources such as oven, stove, etc. When using the toaster do not keep objects near to the appliance, and ensure a good air circulation. For household use only. Do never let the toaster working without supervision. Do not cover parts of the toaster until is completely cool. Do not use the toaster without the slide-out crumb tray. Insert correctly the slide-out crumb tray. Always use the toaster with provided tongs. The food to be inserted in the grips should not be of too big in order to not to block insertion into the toaster. Do not use the toaster for heating food full of sugar or jam. Turn off immediately the toaster if food is burning. Do not touch the food just removed from the toasted because very hot, wait as necessary to not burn yourself. Do not try to put too big pieces of food. If food is blocked into the toaster, turn the appliance off and unplug it from the socket. Once the toaster is cool remove delicately the food. Do not put sharp objects as knives that could damage resistance of the toaster. The upper part and walls of the toaster become quickly warm, do not touch these parts when the toaster is working. Do not try to remove food with knives or metallic objects in general to avoid electric shocks.Toaster with Pliers Use instructions
Use Remove all packaging and clean the appliance carefully. Place the appliance on a stable and at surface. Insert pieces of bread in the pliers than insert the pliers into appropriate slots. Plug the cord supply into the socket. Turn the knob to select the toasting level desired between 6 levels. Put down the switch lever and the toaster start working, it will stop automatically when the time/level is over, pliers will rise automatically from the slots. If bread is not enough toasted, select higher toasting level, or if it is too much toasted, select lower one. The toasting can be stopped at any time by pressing the stop/cancel button; the pliers will automatically rise from the slots. Take care while touching the bread as it will be very hot. The toaster is equipped with 2 additional functions: “Defrost” function Frozen slices of bread may be toasted by pressing the defrost button immediately after lowering the lever; the toasting cycle will be lengthened in order to achieve the desired browning. The defrost indicator light will remain lit while the defrost function is in use. “Reheat” function To warm toast that has popped up but gone cold, lower the lever again and then press the ‘Reheat’ button. Please note that this is xed reheat time which cannot be adjusted by the browning control. The reheat function can be cancelled at any time by pressing the Stop/Cancel button . The reheat indicator light will remain lit while the reheat function is in use. For better toasting When used for the rst time, do not put bread into the toaster; that will allow to the heat resistance to pre-heat and to eliminate the typical smell of new item. To get better results, use same thickness, size and freshness piece of bread. Do not put food that could make juice or other, in order to prevent from damages or re and make it hard to clean. The sliding crumb tray must always be cleaned after each use. To get homogeneous toasting, it is recommended to wait at least 30 seconds before toasting again. Cleaning and care of the toaster Always unplug the cord supply from the socket before cleaning or care. Let the toaster to cool down. The external part of the toaster can be cleaned with a smooth cloth. Do not use alcohol, abrasive detergents or every deter- gent that could damage the toaster. Do not immerse into water. If there remain embedded pieces of bread, unplug the cord supply from the socket, turn over and slightly shake the toaster. Do never touch the parts of the toaster with cutting utensils, especially inside the slots. After use, unplug the cord supply from the socket and let the toaster to cool down before store it. After each use open the removable crumb tray, empty it and clean with a soft dampened cloth. The purchase receipt and the guarantee certicate must be submitted together in case of claim to guarantee. The guarantee is valid only with a guaranty certicate and proof of purchase (scal receipt) indicating the date of purchase and the model of the appliance For any technical assistance, please contact directly the seller or our head ofce in order to preserve the applian- ce’s efciency and NOT TO void the guarantee. Any intervention on this appliance by non-authorized persons will automatically void the guarantee. GUARANTEE CONDITIONS If the appliance shows defects as a result of faulty material and/or production during the period of guarantee, we guarantee repair free of charge on condition that: - The appliance has been used properly and for the purpose for which it has been intended. - The appliance has not been tampered with, otherwise it is not maintainable. - The purchase receipt shall be presented. - The appliance showing a fair wear and tear shall not be covered by this guarantee. Therefore, any part that could be accidentally broken or having visible signs of use in consumable products (such as lamps, batteries, heating elements…) the aesthetic parts are excluded from the guarantee, and any defect whatsoever resulting from non-respect of the rules for use, negligence in usage and/or maintenance of the appliance, carelessness, wrong or improper installation, damage during transport and any other damage not attributable the supplier. For every defect that could not be repaired within the guarantee period, the appliance will be replaced free of charge.
