INTENDED USE
- This device is intended to be used to suck up normal household dust.

On no account should the device be used to suck up the following:
liquids or wet substances (e.g. wet carpet shampoo)
glowing ash, cigarette ends, matches, etc.
infl ammable or explosive substances
very fine dust (e.g. concrete dust), ash or toner
pointed, hard objects such as large pieces of broken glass
The device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
The device should only be used as described in the operating instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
- The warranty does not cover faults caused by incorrect handling, damage or attempted repairs. The same applies to normal wear and tear.
SAFETYNOTICES

WARNING: Note all safety notices, instructions, illustrations and technical data provided with this device. Failure to follow the safety notices and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or injuries.
This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or have received instruction on how to use the device safely and have understood the dangers resulting from failure to comply with the relevant safety precautions.
Children must not play with the device.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are supervised.
Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept away from the device and the connecting cable.
The device must always be disconnected from the mains power when it is left unattended and before it is assembled, disassembled or cleaned.
- Only ever charge up the rechargeable battery using the mains adapter supplied with the device. Do not use the mains adapter that is supplied to charge up any other devices.
In the interest of your own safety, inspect the device for damage each time before you use it. Only use the device if it is not damaged! If the device or the connecting cable is damaged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service department or a similarly qualified person (e.g. specialist workshop) in order to avoid any hazards.

DANGER - Danger of Electric Shock!
Charge and store the device only in closed rooms.
Do not use in rooms with high humidity.
- Never immerse the device and the connecting cable in water or other liquids and ensure that they cannot fall into water or become wet.
If the device falls into water while it is connected to the mains power, switch off the power supply immediately. Only after this should you pull the device out of the water!
- Never touch the device and the connecting cable with wet hands when these components are connected to the mains power.
- Never suck up liquids. Do not pour any liquids into the dust container. Keep the motor unit away from moisture or wet conditions!
If the device is to be used as a hand-held vacuum cleaner for cleaning a car, ensure that the device is not exposed to rain or moisture.

WARNING - Danger of Injury!
- Keep children and animals away from the packaging material. There is a danger of suffocation.
Make sure that the connecting cable is always kept out of the reach of small children and animals. There is a danger of strangulation.
Danger of becoming stuck! Keep animals, hair, jewellery, wide clothing, fingers and all other body parts away from the nozzles of the device. They could become stuck. Should the vacuum cleaner become stuck, switch the device off immediately.
- Lay the connecting cable in such a way that it does not present a trip hazard.

WARNING - Danger from Rechargeable Batteries!
The battery must not be taken apart, thrown into a fire, exposed to high temperatures of over +40^ , immersed in liquids or short-circuited. The battery could ignite or explode.
Ensure that the motor unit and the battery cannot get wet. Do not use the device if liquid has got inside it. The battery could ignite or explode.
- Do not cover the device and the mains adapter during charging in order to prevent it from catching fire. Do not insert anything into the ventilation openings of the device and make sure that they do not become clogged.
If the battery leaks, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to come into contact with the battery acid. There is a danger of burns. If you do touch battery acid, rinse the affected areas with abundant clear water straight away and seek medical assistance immediately.

Remove a dead battery from the device immediately. Clean the contacts before a new battery is inserted.
NOTICE - Risk of Damage to Material and Property
Make sure that the connecting cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Do not wind the mains cable around the mains adapter.
The device should only be used if it has been fully and correctly assembled! The dust container and the fi Iters must be inserted and must not be damaged! If the dirt were to get inside the motor unit, this could damage the motor.
Pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket if an error occurs during charging or before a thunderstorm.
The device must be switched off when the mains adapter is pulled out or inserted into the plug socket. Always pull the mains adapter and never the mains cable to disconnect the device from the mains power!
- Do not use the device when it is still connected to the mains adapter.
- Never pull or carry the device by the connecting cable.
- Protect the device from heat, naked fl ames, extreme temperatures, persistent moisture, wet conditions and impacts.
Use only original accessories from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there is no interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid possible damage. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
ASSEMBLING THE BASE STATION

The base station is made up of parts A, B, D and K (see the "Items Supplied" chapter).
Assembly
Plug together the two tube pieces (A) using the connecting piece (D).
- Plug the assembled tube into the mount on the base plate (K).
- Place the vacuum cleaner holder (B) on the other end of the assembled tube and press it down as far as it will go.
CHARGING UP THE BATTERY
Please Note!
Charge up the battery fully before you first use the device in order to achieve the maximum charging capacity. If the battery is discharged during use, it should be fully charged up again before it is next used.
Only connect the mains adapter to a plug socket that is properly installed and matches the technical data of the device. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated.
Before inserting the battery, check whether the contacts are clean and clean them if necessary.
- Detach the battery (C) from the motor unit (E) if necessary by pressing the release button (9) on the battery and pulling the battery down and out. The battery can also be charged while it is attached to the motor unit.
- First plug the barrel connector of the mains adapter (H) into the connecting socket on the battery and then
connect the mains adapter to a plug socket. The charge control lamp on the battery fl ashes red or on the touch display (6) fl ashes and the battery status display (12) indicates the charge status in % .The battery is charging.

The battery can also be charged while the device is in the base station (see the "Charging the Battery via the Base Station" section). The base station has a connecting socket for the mains adapter.
- If the charge control lamp flashes green or the battery status display shows 100, the battery is fully charged.

The touch display switches off approx. 10 minutes after the battery is fully charged.
- First disconnect the mains adapter from the mains power and then dis connect the barrel connector from the battery.
Charging the Battery via the Base Station
- Place the base station on a dry, even and firm surface.
- Hang the vacuum cleaner into the vacuum cleaner holder (B) with the suction opening facing downwards (Picture E).
- To charge the battery, connect the mains adapter (H) of the vacuum cleaner to the connecting socket on the vacuum cleaner holder.
ACCESSIONS
-
The microfibre floor nozzle (J) is suitable for both carpets and hard floors. It has a rotating microfi ble roller and is thus particularly suitable for delicate floor surfaces. The LEDs illuminate dark areas, to allow even more thorough cleaning.

The combi nozzle (I) is a combination of a small crevice nozzle and brush nozzle. Press the release button on the brush attachment and slide it upwards at the same time to turn the crevice nozzle into a brush nozzle (Picture D). The brush attachment must be heard to engage in place:
The crevice nozzle is suitable for upholstery, cleaning the inside of cars and for all nooks and crannies.
The brush nozzle is used for vacuuming upholstery and textiles and for removing dust from delicate objects such as picture frames, lamp shades, keyboards, books etc.
- The long crevice nozzle (F) is suitable for places which are hard to get to, such as corners, crevices or recesses. The LEDs illuminate dark areas, to allow even more thorough cleaning.
- The extension tube (G) makes it easier to reach the tops of cupboards, ceilings and corners and, along with the microfi bre floor nozzle, allows flours to be cleaned.
- The base station (A,B,D,K) is suitable for storing the device in a space-saving manner. The integrated holder is suitable for securing the nozzles easily so as to save space.
ASSEMBLY
Attaching / Detaching the Microfi bre Floor Nozzle and Extension Tube
- Attaching: The microfi bre fl oor nozzle (J) and the extension tube (G) are plugged directly onto the suction opening (10). You must hear them engage. Attach the microfi bre fl oor nozzle to the extension tube in the same way.
- Detaching: Press the release button (11) over the suction opening or on the extension tube and pull out the microfi BRE floor nozzle or the extension tube at the same time.
Attaching / Detaching the Combi Nozzle and Crevice Nozzle

Attaching: Plug the nozzle you want into the suction opening (10) or the extension tube (G). When you do this, make sure that the locking lug on the nozzle is pointing towards the release button. The nozzle must engage audibly.

Detaching: Press the release button (11) over the suction opening or on the extension tube and pull out the nozzle at the same time.
Removing / Inserting the Dust Container
-
Detaching: Slide the release button (5) towards the dust container (3) and pull it up to detach it.

Inserting: Insert the dust container into the motor unit (E) from above. When you do this, make sure that the locking lug on the dust container fits in the corresponding recess in the motor unit. The dust container must engage audibly.
TOUCH DISPLAY
On the touch display (6) the following indicators can be read and the suction strength can be set manually and the AUTO programme can be switched on.

USE
Please Note!
Make sure that there are no large, sharp objects on the surface which is to be cleaned.
Note the MAX marking of the dust container. If the marking is reached
during use, empty the dust container. Empty and clean the dust container after every use. The fi tters must also be regularly cleaned in order to prevent overloading of the motor.
Switch off the device after you finish cleaning each surface to signifi cantly increase the operating time on each battery charge. Charge up the battery
after use (see the "Charging Up the Battery" chapter).
- Select an accessory as required (see the "Accessories" chapter) and attach it to the device (see the "Assembly" chapter).
- Switch on the device by pressing the On / Off switch (7) once. The device will start vacuuming immediately. The touch display (6) lights up.
- If necessary, the suction strength can be changed manually via the touch display by touching the fi eld or . If the AUTO symbol is touched, the intelligent suction strength control can also be set (see the "Touch Display" chapter).
- Move the device over the surface to be cleaned.
- To switch the device off again, press the On / Off switch again.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
- Do not immerse the EPA filter in water or rinse it under running water to prevent damage to the filter. It is neither machine-washable, dishwasher-safe nor suitable for tumble drying.
The dust filter is neither machine-washable, dishwasher-safe nor suitable for tumble drying! Only ever dry it in the air, and never use a hair dryer to do so. - Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the housing. They may damage the surfaces.

The EPA fi Iter may lose some of its colour over time. This is normal and does not have any adverse effect on function.
Emptying the Dust Container
- Take the dust container (3) off the motor unit (E) (see the "Assembly"
chapter - "Removing / Inserting the Dust Container").
- Hold the dust container over an open dustbin. The distance from the dustbin should be as small as possible so that the dust does not spread in the surrounding air.
- Press the tab (2) on the dust container. The lid of the dust container (1) will open and the dirt will fall out.
- To close it, press the lid onto the dust container. The tab must engage audibly.
Cleaning the Dust Container, EPA Filter and Dust Filter
- Reach into the dust container (3) and pull out the dust filter (4) with the EPA fi Iter.
- Twist the dust fi iter anticlockwise and pull the EPA fi iter upwards.
- Tap out all parts and clean them with a soft brush if necessary.
- The dust fi lter can also be rinsed with clear water. NOTICE: Do not wet-clean the EPA fi lter!
- Wipe out the dust container with a damp cloth if necessary. Allow all parts to dry completely in the air before you reassemble them. NOTICE: Never assemble wet or damp components or attach them to the motor unit (E)!
Assembly
- Place the dust fi Iter onto the EPA fi Iter in such a way that the locking lug fi ts in the recess which is provided for it. Twist the dust fi Iter clockwise until it fi ts securely.
- Insert the dust container with EPA fi Iter into the dust container. The dust fi Iter must fi t correctly in the dust container, it must not stick out at the top.
- Insert the dust container back into the motor unit (see the "Assembly"
chapter - "Removing / Inserting the Dust Container").
Cleaning the Motor Unit, Extension Tube and Nozzles
- Wipe down the motor unit (E), extension tube (G) and nozzles with a damp, soft cloth if necessary. Then dry with a soft cloth.
- Regularly remove hair and fluff from the nozzles and brushes.
Cleaning the Microfi bre Floor Nozzle To make it easier to clean, the roller can be taken out of the microfi bre floor nozzle (J):
- Release the locking catch on the back of the microfi BRE floor nozzle by pressing the catch on the right side towards the symbol. The side cover can now be slid upwards.
- Pull out the roller and remove any dirt.
- Reinsert the roller so that the locking lugs of the cover engage in one another. You must hear and feel them engage.
Storage
- Store the device in a cool, dry place which is protected from direct sunlight and is out of the reach of children and animals.
- For storage, hang the device with the suction opening (10) facing down wards in the vacuum cleaner holder (B).
- Nozzles can be stored on the connecting piece (D) and on the bottom of the vacuum cleaner holder. The base plate (K) is suitable as a rest for the floor nozzle (J).

If the device is not going to be used for a prolonged period, remove the battery (C) to be on the safe side (see "Charging Up the Battery").
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps listed, contact the customer service department.

Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
The device only works slowly or does not start.
The battery (C) is empty.
Charge up the battery.
Low suction force.
The battery (C) is too weak.
Charge up the battery.
The dust container (3) is too full.
Empty the dust container.
The fi liters are dirty.
Clean the filters.
The suction opening (10) is blocked.
- Switch off the device and remove the blockage.
Particles which are too large or heavy may stick to a fitted carpet.
Remove these foreign objects by hand.
Dust escapes from the device during cleaning.
The dust container (3) or fi tter are not fit tted correctly.
- Correct the fit of the dust container and filter. Make sure that the dust container is closed.
The fi lters are dirty.
Clean the filters.
The fi lters are worn or damaged.
Replace the filters.
The charge control lamp does not light up when the device is connected to the mains power.
The mains adapter (H) is not inserted in the plug socket correctly or the barrel connector is not inserted correctly in the connecting socket on the battery (C).
Correct the fit.
The plug socket is defective.
Try another plug socket.
Unusual odour
The device is being used for the first time.
A new odour is normal when the device is used for the first time; it disappears after a while.
DISPOSAL

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that it can be recycled.

The battery should be removed before the device is disposed of and should be disposed of separately from it at suitable collection points.

This device is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose of the device as normal domestic waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly manner via an offi cially approved waste disposal company.
