1. The safety instructions do not by themselves eliminate any danger completely and proper accident prevention measures must always be used.

2. Place the appliance on a flat, dry and stable surface.

3. Cooking appliances should be positioned in a stable situation with the handles (if any) positioned to avoid spillage of the hot liquids.

4. Never use this appliance if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped, damaged or if it has been dropped into water. Take it to a service centre for inspection and repair.
5. Never try to dismantle the appliance yourself.

Use of the device

BEFORE USE

Remove any stickers. Wash all parts in soapy water before use (except for heating base) and rinse thoroughly.

DURING USE

The adjustable temperature means that the fondue pan can be used for various kinds of fondue: the classic meat fondue, a cheese fondue, a chocolate fondue or a Chinese fondue (with ingredients cooked in boiling stock). Make sure the pan is not too full. Set the thermostat regulates the temperature. For the classic meat fondue, the thermostat needs to be set at the maximum level. Whereas for cheese, Chinese and chocolate fondues the "medium" setting is preferable. Adjust the temperature so that the contents are just starting to boil. Cheese and chocolate in particular need to be heated up slowly, as the pan will otherwise boil over. Stir every now and to obtain a smooth mixture. Only prick in to the ingredients, not into the pan.

Cleaning and maintenance

The pot can be washed in soapy water.

Do not place the container in the dishwasher.

Do not use a scouring agent or scouring sponge.

The heating base must be kept dry. It can be wiped with a damp cloth if necessary.

You can put the accessories in the dishwasher.

Correct disposal of the unit (Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
