How to test the Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) before each use?
Plug in the spa, press the TEST button on the GFCI: the spa should turn off. Then press RESET to restore operation. If the test fails, do not use the spa and contact support.
What is the maximum water temperature and how long to heat?
The maximum temperature is 40 °C. The heating time depends on the initial and ambient temperature. Example: at 20 °C ambient, to reach 40 °C, it takes 13 to 29 hours.
How to activate the massage system and how long does it run?
Press the Massage button to activate the system. You can choose between 2 levels (L1 full power, L2 less powerful). The massage stops automatically after 30 minutes.
What to do if the pump does not heat properly?
Check the set temperature, clean or replace the filter cartridge, make sure the cover is in place. If the problem persists, consult the support section at bestwaycorp.com/support.
How to use the energy-saving function?
Press the Timer button, set the heating duration (1-999h) then the start time (0-999h). The heating will activate after the set delay to save energy.
Can the spa be used in winter?
Yes, if the outside temperature is below 6 °C, the Freeze Shield™ system keeps the water between 6 and 10 °C. Do not turn off the heating in freezing weather. Do not use below -10 °C.
How to clean and maintain the spa water?
Use the filter cartridge (daily cleaning, weekly replacement). Maintain pH between 7.4 and 7.6, alkalinity between 80 and 120 ppm, and free chlorine between 2 and 4 ppm. Change water regularly.
What do error codes like E02 or E03 mean?
E02: water flow problem (dirty filter, plugs not removed). E03: water temperature too low (< 4°C). Consult the manual for the full list and solutions.
How to repair a tear or puncture in the liner?
