How to reset the filter replacement indicator?
When the filter change indicator flashes red or stays solid red, replace the filter then press the mode icon ' ' for 3 seconds. The red light will turn off, confirming the reset.
Can I wash the filter of my AEG purifier?
No, the multi-layer filter is not washable. It must be replaced with a new one (ref. AFFBRZ2). Only the pre-filter can be wiped with a damp cloth.
What do the colors of the air quality indicator mean?
The PM2.5 sensor displays: Green (0-12 µg/m³, very good quality), Yellow (13-35, good), Orange (36-55, poor), Red (>56, very poor).
How to use automatic mode and sleep mode?
Touch the ' ' icon to switch between modes. In AUTO mode, the device adjusts the speed according to air quality. In SLEEP mode, it operates silently and all indicators (except the SLEEP icon) turn off.
What to do if the purifier does not turn on?
First check that the power cord is properly inserted into the device and the wall outlet. Then, open the bottom of the device, readjust the filter to the center, close correctly and lock. If the problem persists, contact an AEG authorized repairer.

The noise may come from an uneven installation surface or a poorly inserted filter. Place the device on a flat floor and ensure the filter is properly positioned in the center of its compartment.
How to clean the AEG AX31201BL air purifier?
Always unplug the device before cleaning. Use a damp cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush. For the plastic housing, a cloth dampened with warm water and mild detergent is suitable. Never use harsh cleaners, wax or polish.

Never use an extension cord or adapter plug. Do not obstruct the air inlets/outlets. Keep children under 3 years away. Unplug before cleaning. In case of burning smell or sparks, stop immediately and call an AEG authorized repairer.
