How to adjust the browning level?

Use the temperature control knob (3) to choose among 7 levels. Level 1 for light toasting, level 7 for dark toasting.

Can I toast buttered bread slices?

No, do not toast buttered bread slices or slices covered with jam. This could damage the appliance or cause a fire.

How to use the defrost function?

Place the bread slices in the slots, press the defrost button (4) then lower the lever. The appliance first defrosts the bread, then toasts it.

What to do if bread gets stuck?

Unplug the appliance, wait for it to cool, then carefully remove the bread. Never use sharp metal objects.
