How to clean the Health Multi Grill CB6A08?

Let the appliance cool completely. Remove the plate and drip tray. Wash them with warm soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge. Never use scouring powder or metal sponge. Dry thoroughly before reassembling.

Can I use an extension cord?

Yes, provided it has an adequate cross-section (at least 2.5 mm²) and is equipped with a grounding plug. Ensure no one can trip over it.

Why does the indicator light turn on and off during cooking?

This is normal: the light goes off when the selected temperature is reached and comes back on to maintain heat. This ensures even cooking.

What to do in case of a burn?

Immediately run the burned area under cold water for several minutes. If the burn is severe, consult a doctor.

Can I cook food in foil packets on this grill?

No, never insert aluminum foil or cook in papillote. This could damage the plate and the appliance.

The grill emits an odor and smoke during first use. Is this normal?

Yes, it's normal. This is the burning off of manufacturing residues. Ventilate the room and let the appliance heat empty for 10 minutes before first cooking.

Can I use metal utensils on the plate?

No, to preserve the non-stick coating, use only wooden or plastic spatulas.

How to prevent scratching the plate?

Do not use metal sponges or abrasive products. Do not cut food directly on the plate. Store it protected.

Can I leave the appliance plugged in after use?

No, always unplug the appliance after use and when not in use. Never leave it plugged in unattended.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

• This appliance must not be used outside.
• This appliance is intended for domestic household use only. It is not intended to be used in the following applications, and the guarantee will not apply for:

- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;

• farm houses;
  – by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
• bed and breakfast type environments.

- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance and use the appliance as a toy.

• Accessible surface temperatures can be high when the appliance is operating.

• Remove all packaging materials, stickers and accessories from the inside and the outside of the appliance.

• Fully unwind the power cord.

• Make sure that the electric power supply is compatible with the power rating and voltage indicated on the bottom of the appliance.

- Read the instructions carefully, common to different versions depending on the accessories supplied with your appliance, and keep them within reach.

- If the appliance is used in the centre of the table, keep it out of the reach of children.

- Make sure the device is placed in a stable position before using it.

- If an accident occurs, rinse the burn immedia-tely with cold water and call a doctor if neces-sary.

- Cooking fumes may be dangerous for animals which have a particularly sensitive respiratory system, such as birds. We advise bird owners to keep them away from the cooking area.

- Always use a wooden or plastic spatula to avoid damaging the cooking plate.

- In order to avoid deterioration of the plate, use it only as it was designed to be used (for example, do not place it in an oven or on a stove, whether it be gas or electric).

- Use only the plate provided with the device or a plate bought at an authorized Service Centre.

- Before first use, wash the plate (see paragraph After Use), pour a small amount of oil on it and dry with a soft cloth.

- Be careful where you place the electric power cord, whether you use an extension or not. Take all the necessary precautions in order not to hinder people from moving around the table, so that nobody gets tangled or trips over the cord.

- Always let the appliance cool down completely before removing cooking plate and grease collector tray for cleaning.

- Never leave the appliance unattended when plugged in or in use.

- To prevent the appliance from overheating, do not place it in a corner or against a wall.

• Do not cook food in aluminium foil.
• To avoid spoiling your product, do not use flambé recipes in connection with it at any time.
• Do not use metal scourers or scouring powders to avoid damaging the cooking surface.
• Do not remove the grease collector tray during cooking.
• If the grease collector tray gets filled during cooking, let the contents cool before emptying it.

• The device will be ready for use once it is preheated.
• During cooking, the indicator light will go on and off indicating that the selected temperature is being maintained.
