What is the minimum age to use the Juno baby carrier?

The Juno baby carrier is recommended from birth (0 months) with the included Juno insert, for front facing you positioning. Without the insert, it is suitable from 6 months.

How to install the newborn insert?

The Juno insert is placed in the seat of the carrier. It has length and width adjustment straps to fit your baby's size. Make sure it is securely fastened before use.

Can I use the Juno for back carrying?

Yes, the Juno allows back carrying (facing away) from 6 months. Use the seat width adjustment straps for optimal fit.

How to adjust the chest strap?

The chest strap is adjusted by using the magnetic buckle and pulling the ends to tighten or loosen. It should be positioned at shoulder blade level for comfortable support.

Is the carrier machine washable?

Yes, the Juno is machine washable in cold water (30°C) on a gentle cycle. Use a laundry bag to protect the straps. Air dry, do not use a dryer.

What carrying positions are possible?

The Juno offers four positions: front facing you (0-6 months with insert, 6-24 months without), front facing away (6-18 months), and hip carrying (6-24 months, up to 48 months).

How to clean the protective cover?

The protective cover can be removed and hand washed with mild soap. It air dries quickly.

Is the Juno baby carrier suitable for premature babies?

The Juno is designed for newborns from 3.5 kg. For premature babies, consult your pediatrician before use. The insert provides good head and neck support.

What to do if a strap is damaged?

Contact Mountain Buggy customer service to get spare parts. The straps and buckles are easily replaceable with a clip system.

Can the Juno be used for long-distance hiking?

Yes, the Juno is designed for extended comfort with padded shoulder straps, a supportive waist belt, and storage pockets. It is ideal for walks and hikes.

caring for juno™ and infant insert

• fabrics are best sponge cleaned or hand washed with warm water using a mild, natural soap.
• juno ^™ and the infant insert can also be machine washed on a cold, gentle cycle. however, please keep in mind that when machine washed, some colours may fade.
• dry your juno ^™ and infant insert thoroughly before storing. store in a well ventilated space away from direct sunlight, which could damage or fade the fabrics.
• always line dry your juno and infant insert. do not wring. do not tumble dry. do not use any solvent or bleach based products, as these may harm the fabrics.

• juno ^TM can be worn as a front face in, front face out, back or hip carrier.
• it's important to fit your child correctly when using juno™. make sure that your child has: clear airways, is carried firmly against you, has the recommended leg positioning and is close enough to kiss.
• it is recommended that the infant insert and the front face in carry mode are used for newborns from 3.5–6.5kg / 7.7–14.3lbs.
