USER MANUAL NE8000 REMINGTON
Thank you for buying your new Remington® product. Please read these instructions carefully and keep them safe. Remove all packaging before use. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Do not use attachments other than those we supply.
- Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunctions. The blades are washable under a running tap.
- This appliance is battery operated only.
- This product uses alkaline batteries. At the end of their life the batteries must be removed from the appliance and be recycled or disposed of properly in accordance with your state and local requirements.
- This appliance is not intended for commercial or salon use. BATTERY SAFETY
- Remove batteries if the unit is not in use for long periods.
- It is not recommended to use a rechargeable battery as this can result in poor performance
- Do not try to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
- Do not dispose of used batteries in a fire.
- Do not short circuit the battery contacts.
- Used batteries must be removed from the appliance, recycled or disposed of in an environmentally friendly way (see RECYCLING). PARTS
1. Battery/storage compartment
1. Ensure the product is switched off.
2. Slide the battery/storage compartment cover off.
3. Open the battery cover.
4. Insert the battery so that the (+) and (-) marks on the battery correspond to the marking
on the battery cover.
5. Refit the battery cover.
6. Slide the battery/storage compartment cover back on.
- Note: your trimmer will not work if the battery is not inserted correctly.
- Note: remove the battery if you are not going to use your trimmer for long periods.
- Ensure your trimmer is switched off.
- Remove the attachment by turning it anti-clockwise and lifting off.
- Fit the new attachment by placing it on the top of your trimmer and turning it clockwise to lock it into position.
- The markings on the attachment, and the body of your trimmer show the correct alignment.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Always remember to turn the trimmer on before you insert it into your nose or ear to avoid injury.
TO REMOVE HAIR FROM NOSE
- Fit either the linear or rotary trimmer attachment.
- Insert it gently into the nostril.
- Gently move it in and out of your nostril and at the same time rotate it.
- Avoid inserting it more than 6mm into your nostril.
TO REMOVE HAIR FROM EYEBROWS
- Fit the linear trimmer attachment.
- Remove the comb from the battery/storage compartment.
- Slide the comb over the trimming head (fig. C).
- Gently guide the cutting unit to stray, unwanted hairs along the eyebrow line or protruding from the eyebrow itself.
- To remove the hairs completely, remove the attachment comb and lower the trimmer onto the skin and move over desired area.
- Use slow and well-controlled movements.
- The tweezers (located in the battery/storage compartment) can be used to pluck stray hairs from the eyebrows as required.
TO REMOVE HAIR FROM EAR
- Fit either the linear or rotary trimmer attachment.
- Insert it carefully into the ear canal opening. Gently rotate it.
- Avoid inserting the cutting unit more than 6mm into your ear canal.
- NOTE: Do not apply excessive pressure as this damages the trimmer head and may cause skin injury.
CARE FOR YOUR GROOMER
- Care for your product to ensure a long lasting performance. We recommend that you clean your trimmer after each use.
- The blades are washable under a running tap but must be removed before they are cleaned in this way. Keep the body of the device dry at all times.
- Dry off excess water.
- After cleaning, place one or two drops of cutter oil or sewing machine oil on the linear trimmer blade. Wipe off excess oil. RECYCLING
- This product uses alkaline batteries. At the end of their life the batteries must be removed from the appliance and be recycled or disposed of properly in accordance with your state and local requirements.
