How to turn on or off the Testo 552?

Press the on/off button (power symbol). The device turns on or off.

How to change the pressure unit?

In the Settings menu, press △ to select the desired unit (mbar, hPa, micron, etc.), then confirm with set.

How to activate Bluetooth connection?

Press and hold the set and △ buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The Bluetooth symbol appears on the screen.

What if measurements are inconsistent?

Check the connection of the testo 552, the tightness of the hoses, and clean the sensor as described in the Cleaning section.

What does the display 'oooooo' mean?

The measured pressure is outside the measuring range (0 ... 20,000 microns). Check the installation.

How to clean the vacuum sensor?

Turn off the device, pour a few drops of cleaning alcohol into a connection, shake, then drain the alcohol. Repeat 2 times and let dry for 1 hour.

How to replace the batteries?

Turn off the device, open the battery compartment by unfolding the hook, replace the used batteries with two new AA batteries observing polarity, then close.

Can I use the testo 552 as a sensor with the testo 570?

Yes, connect the testo 552 to the testo 570 via the connection cable 0554 5520 and activate the Evacuation mode on the testo 570. The testo 552 switches to slave mode.

What is the vacuum measurement accuracy?

The accuracy is ±(10% of the measured value + 10 microns) in the range of 100 to 1000 microns at 22°C.
