Frequently Asked Questions - HF522STP 011 HOOVER

How to start self-cleaning and self-drying?
After cleaning, place the vacuum on the charging station. Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged and the clean water tank has enough water. Press the self-cleaning button. The device automatically starts the cycle, followed by a voice prompt at the end.
What to do if suction power decreases or a loud noise occurs?
Check if objects are blocking the suction opening or the brush. Ensure the dirty water tank is properly installed and the sponge filter is clean. A full tank or clogged filter can reduce suction.
How to clean the dirty water tank and sponge filter?
Remove the dirty water tank by pressing the release button. Empty the dirty water, rinse the tank with clean water (no harsh tools). Remove the filter cover, take out the sponge filter and wash it with water or mild detergent. Dry all components completely before reassembling.
How to maintain the cylindrical brush?
Turn off the vacuum. Open the cylindrical brush cover, lift the brush to remove it. Clean it with the provided cleaning tool. To reinstall, insert one end into the head, then secure the pin into the hole on the other side. Close the cover.
The vacuum does not turn on, what to do?
Check that the battery is charged (plug into the charging station). Ensure the handle has been pushed back until it clicks before use. Check if the cylindrical brush is not blocked. If self-cleaning does not start due to low battery, charge for 5 minutes and try again.
How much cleaning solution to add to the water tank?
Fill the clean water tank to the MAX line, then add 2 caps of floor cleaning solution (dilution 1:40). Use only the cleaning solution designated by eufy to avoid damaging the appliance.
Can I use the vacuum on carpets?
Yes, but it is not recommended to use the water spraying function on carpets. For best results, use the carpet roller brush (optional, included with some models).
How to change the language of voice prompts?
Simultaneously press and hold the water spray button and the self-cleaning button for a few seconds to enter language selection mode. Press the water spray button multiple times to choose the language, then confirm with the speed adjustment button.
What to do if liquid leaks from the battery?
Avoid any contact. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water and consult a doctor. Dispose of the used battery in a sealed plastic bag in accordance with local regulations. Do not attempt to repair the battery yourself.
Where to find customer service phone numbers?
Visit support.eufylife.com or scan the QR code in the manual. The warranty is 24 months. For more information, contact Hoover customer service via the contact details provided in the manual.
