INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USE

ASSEMBLING YOUR CLEANER

Remove all components from the packaging.

  1. Connect the hose to the cleaner main body, ensuring it clips and locks into position. [1]
  2. To release: simply press the button on the hose end and pull.
  3. Connect the hose handle to the upper extension tube end [2], or accessories if required.
  4. Connect the extension tube lower end to the carpet and floor nozzle [3] or accessories if required.

USING YOUR CLEANER

  1. Extract power cord and plug it into the power supply. Do not pull the cord beyond the red marker, [4]
  2. Adjust the telescopic tube to the desired height by moving the telescopic tube adjuster up and raise or lower the handle to the most comfortable cleaning position. [5]
  3. Carpet & Floor Nozzle** Press the floor type selector on the nozzle [6] to select the ideal cleaning mode for the floor type.

Hard Floor -Brushes are lowered to protect the floor.

Carpet - Brushes are raised for the deepest clean.

  1. Switch the cleaner on by pressing the on/off Pedal on the cleaner main body. [7]
  2. Adjust the suction regulator on the handle to the desired level.
  3. Switch off at the end of use by pressing the on/off Pedal. Unplug and press the cord reel pedal to wind the power cord back into the cleaner.

PARKING AND STORAGE SECTION

The tube and nozzle can be parked on back of the cleaner for storage or temporary storage while in use.

ACCESSIONS

To obtain the best performance and efficiency it is recommended that the correct nozzles are used for the main cleaning operations. These nozzles are indicated in the diagrams by the letters GP, HF or CA.

A nozzle type GP can be used to clean both carpet and hard floor.

A nozzle type HF is suitable for use only on hard floor.

A nozzle of type CA is suitable for use only on carpet.

The other nozzles are accessories for specialist cleaning tasks and are recommended for occasional use only.

All accessories can be fitted to the hose handle or the end of the tubes.

2 in 1 Tool combines several functions into one tool: Crevice Tool - For corners and hard to reach areas. Dusting Brush - For bookshelves, frames, keyboards and other delicate areas.

Pet Hair Remover Mini Turbo Nozzle* - Use the mini turbo nozzle on stairs or for deep cleaning on textile surfaces and other hard to clean areas. Particularly suitable for pet hairs removal.

Allergen Remover Mini Turbo Nozzle* - Use the mini turbo nozzle on stairs or for deep cleaning on textile surfaces and other hard to clean areas. Particularly suitable for allergen removal.

Parquet Nozzle* - For parquet floors and other delicate floors.

IMPORTANT: Do not use the Mini Turbo Nozzles on rugs with long fringes, animal hides and carpet pile deeper than 15mm. Do not keep the nozzle stationary while the brush is rotating.

CLEANER MAINTENANCE

Emptying the Dust Container

When the dust reaches the max level indicator on the container, empty the dust container.

IMPORTANT: To maintain optimum performance, do not allow the dust to exceed the max level 1. Turn off the cleaner with the main switch and unplug the power cable. 2. Press the bin release button and remove the bin assembly from the cleaner. [8] 3. Hold the dust container with one hand, and remove the dust container lid by rotating anti-clockwise. [9] 4. Remove the pre-motor filter assembly from bin assembly. [10] 5. Remove the Vortex Finder from bin assembly. [11] 6. Empty the dust from the bin. [12] 7. Refit the vortex finder and pre-motor filter assembly to bin assembly. 8. Refit the dust container lid to bin assembly. 9. Close and refit to the cleaner main body.

Cleaning the Washable Filters

The cleaner is fitted with pre motor filter and exhaust filter. To maintain optimum cleaning performance, regularly remove the filters and tap against the side of the bin to release dust. The filters should be washed every 5 cassette empties or when the filter has excessive dust level.

IMPORTANT: All bagless cleaners require regular filter cleaning. Failure to clean your filters may result in air blockage, overheating and product failure. This may invalidate your guarantee.

IMPORTANT: Regularly check and maintain the filters. IMPORTANT: Always ensure the filter pack is fully dry before use.

To access the filter:

  1. Remove the dust container from the cleaner. [8]
  2. Hold the dust container with one hand, and remove the dust container lid by rotating anti-clockwise. [9]
  3. Remove the pre-motor filter assembly from bin assembly. [10]
  4. Gently tap and wash the pre-motor filter. Do not use hot water or detergents. Remove excess water from the filter and leave to dry fully before re-using. [13] [17]
  5. Reassemble the pre-motor filter assembly once fully dry and refit to the cleaner.

To access the exhaust filter:

  1. Unclip the exhaust filter cover from the rear of the cleaner main body. [14]
  2. Remove the exhaust filter from the rear of the cleaner. [15]
  3. Gently tap and wash the filter using warm water. Do not use hot water or detergents. Remove excess water from the filter and leave to dry fully before re-using. [16] [17]
  4. Refit the exhaust filter to the rear of the cleaner once fully dry and refit the exhaust filter cover.

IMPORTANT: Do not use the product without the filter pack fitted.

Cleaning the dust container / separation unit

This cleaner uses a separation system unique to Hoover. If necessary, the separation unit can be disassembled from the dust container and cleaned.

  1. Press the dust container release button and remove the bin assembly from the cleaner. [8]
  2. Hold the bin with one hand and with the other hand remove the dust container lid by rotating anti-clockwise. [9]
  3. Remove the dust container lid by rotating anti-clockwise. And remove the pre-motor filter from dust container assembly. [10] And then remove the vortex finder from the dust container by pulling. [11]
  4. If necessary, use a cloth to remove excessive dust from the vortex finder surface. Reassemble the internal components to the bin.
  5. Reassemble the dust container lid to the dust container. Refit the dustbin to the cleaner.

Removing a blockage

  1. Check if the Dust Container is full. If so, refer to 'Emptying The Dust Container'.
  2. If the Dust Container is empty, but suction is still low:

A. Do the filters need cleaning? If so, refer to 'Cleaning the Washable Filters'. B. Check if there is any other blockage in the system - Use a rod or a pole to remove any blockage from the tubes or hose.

C. Check for and clear any blockage in the Nozzle

D. Check if the separation unit needs to be cleaned. Refer to 'Cleaning the separation unit.'

WARNING - If the cleaner is used for a significant period of time with a blockage, a thermal cut out will switch the cleaner off to prevent overheating. If this should happen, switch the cleaner off, unplug and correct the fault. It will take about 45 minutes for the cut out to automatically reset.

WARNING! It is forbidden to use the turbo brush on carpets with long pile, more than 15 mm, or on animal fur, and to keep the brush in a stationary position while it is operating.

VACUUM CLEANER MAINTENANCE

Dust container error

When dust in the container accumulates to the maximum level indicated by the indicator, the container should be emptied.

WARNING! Do not exceed the maximum fill level indicated by the indicator.

  1. Turn off the vacuum cleaner using the main switch and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
  2. Press the container release button and remove the container from the vacuum cleaner. [8] To empty the container over a waste bin, remove the lid by turning it.
  3. Remove the washable filter from the container. [10]
  4. Remove the cyclone attachment from the container. [11]
  5. Remove dust from the dust container. [12]
  6. Install the cyclone attachment and the washable filter back in place.
  7. Replace the lid on the dust container.
  8. Close the lid and return the container to the main body of the vacuum cleaner.

The filter must be cleaned after each container is filled or when suction power noticeably decreases. To clean the filters, remove them and tap them over a trash bin. If necessary, wash the filters.

WARNING! Filters of all bagless vacuum cleaners require regular cleaning. If the filters are dirty, this can lead to blockage of the air flow, overheating, and failure of the vacuum cleaner. This can lead to the voiding of the warranty.

WARNING! Regularly check the filters and clean them.

To remove the filters:

To remove the exhaust filter, perform the following steps:

  1. 1. Open the filter cover at the rear of the main body of the vacuum cleaner. [14]

Remove the dust container from the vacuum cleaner. If necessary, clean it. 1. Press the dust container release button and remove it from the vacuum cleaner. [8] 2. Hold the handle with one hand and turn the dust container counterclockwise. [9] 3. Remove the lid from the dust container, turning it counterclockwise. Remove the washable filter from the container. [10] Then remove the foam filter from the container, pulling it out. [11] 4. If necessary, clean the filters with a soft brush. Install the inner components back into the dust container. 5. Replace the lid on the dust container. Install the dust container back into the vacuum cleaner.

Clearing blockages

  1. Check if the dust container is full. If so, see the section "Cleaning the dust container".
  2. If the dust container is empty but suction remains low:

A. Does the filter need cleaning? If so, see the section "Cleaning the filters".

ASSEMBLING THE VACUUM CLEANER

Remove all components from the packaging.

  1. Attach the handle to the main body of the vacuum cleaner, making sure it is securely fixed. [1] 2. To release: simply press the button on the handle and pull.
  2. Attach the hose to the handle, aligning the top end with the groove [2] and push in until it clicks, if necessary.
  3. Attach the lower end of the hose to the telescopic tube and the floor nozzle [3a] with the accessories, if necessary.

USING THE VACUUM CLEANER

  1. Pull out the power cord and plug it into the mains. Do not pull the cord beyond the red mark. [4]
  2. 2. Adjust the telescope to the desired height, as the regulator of the telescope tube above the surface when lowering the lever to the desired position. [5] 3.3. Nozzle for each floor*. Select the nozzle type for the floor part [6] to set the desired cleaning mode for the floor part. Hard floor - use the lowering lever for the intended mode. Carpet - use the lever with the highest suction power.
  3. Turn on the vacuum cleaner, then press the On/Off switch on the body [7].
  4. Set the suction regulator to the desired level. Turn off the appliance by pressing the On/Off switch. Disconnect from the mains by pressing the pedal for the cable, to wind the cable around the vacuum cleaner.

PARKING AND STORAGE SECTION

The nozzle can be parked on the back of the appliance and the vacuum cleaner can be stored upright for convenient storage before and after use.

ACCESSORIES

For best performance and energy efficiency, it is recommended to use the correct nozzles for the basic cleaning operations. These nozzles are indicated in the diagrams with the letters GP, HF, and CA.

The GP nozzle can be used for cleaning both carpets and hard floors.

The HF nozzle is suitable for use only on hard floors. The CA nozzle is suitable for use only on carpets.

Other nozzles are accessories for special cleaning tasks and are recommended only for use and not essential.

All accessories can be attached to the handle of the hose or the tube.

The tool 2 in 1 combines two tools in one:

Upholstery tool - for sofas, armchairs, and other hard-to-reach areas.

Dusting brush - for skirting boards, frames, and delicate areas.

Mini paint for home use - Use mini paint and varnish for high-quality coating of textile surfaces and other areas for coating. Especially suitable for painting home use.

Mini tube paint for application with a sprayer - Use mini tube paint and varnish for high-quality coating of textile surfaces and other areas for coating. Especially suitable for application with a sprayer.

Paint for parquet - for parquet and other floor coverings.

IMPORTANT: Do not use mini tube paint on wet surfaces, leather, or with a brush with a 15mm bristle. Do not move the paint until it is completely dry.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Emptying the dust container

When the dust reaches the maximum level of the container, empty the container.

IMPORTANT: For proper operation, do not allow the dust to exceed the maximum level.

1. Disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the main power supply and remove the cable. 2. Press the button to release the container.

Remove the vacuum cleaner from the dust container. [8] 3. Hold the dust container over a trash can and press the latch to open the bottom of the dust container, when the trash can is full. [9] 4. Remove the filter from the motor inlet from the container inlet. [10]

  1. Remove the pre-filter from the container. [11]
  2. Clean the pre-filter. [12]
  3. Place the pre-filter back into the filter holder and insert it into the container inlet.
  4. Place the dust container lid on the container.
  5. Close and place the main body of the vacuum cleaner.

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a filter. The filter must be cleaned regularly to maintain its effectiveness.

Regularly clean the filter to prevent blockages. The filter should be cleaned at least once every 5 uses or when the suction power is noticeably reduced.

IMPORTANT: All vacuum cleaners with filters require regular cleaning of the filter. Failure to clean the filter may lead to overheating, interruption of operation, and malfunction of the device. This may void the warranty.

IMPORTANT: Regularly check and service the filter.

IMPORTANT: Always ensure that the filter is completely dry before use.

To clean the filter:

  1. Remove the dust container from the vacuum cleaner. [8]
  2. Remove the filter cover by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it off. [9]
  3. Take the filter out of the motor protection cover. [10]
  4. Carefully pull out and clean the filter under running water. Do not use hot water or detergents. Rinse the filter thoroughly and let it dry completely before reinstalling. [13][17] 5. After the filter is completely dry, reinstall it in the motor protection cover and then reattach the dust container.

To clean the exhaust filter:

  1. Open the exhaust filter cover on the back side of the main body of the vacuum cleaner. [14]
  2. Remove the exhaust filter from the back side of the vacuum cleaner. [15] 3. Carefully pull out and clean the filter under running water. Do not use hot water or detergents. Rinse the filter thoroughly and let it dry completely before reinstalling. [16] [17]
  3. After the exhaust filter is completely dry, reinstall it in its place and reattach the cover.

WARNING: Do not use the appliance without the filter bag installed.

Removing the dust compartment / separating block

The vacuum cleaner uses a separating system, a Hoover innovation. If necessary, the separating block can be removed from the dust compartment and cleaned.

  1. Press the button on the dust compartment and pull the block out of the vacuum cleaner. [8]
  2. Hold the compartment with one hand and with the other hand turn the block and the compartment, turning clockwise until the arrow points to the unlock symbol. [9]
  3. Turn the block of the dust compartment, turning counterclockwise to the arrow.

  1. If necessary, use a brush to remove excess dust from the surface of the release latch. Do not wash the internal components.
  2. Remove the block from the dust compartment. Place the dust compartment back into the vacuum cleaner.

Clearing blockages

  1. Check if the dust compartment is full. If so, empty it. See "Emptying the dust compartment." 2. If the dust compartment is not full, but suction is weak:

A. Check the filter. If dirty, clean it. See "Cleaning the filter." B. Check for another blockage in the system - remove the hose to clear any blockages in the hose or accessories. C. Check the hose and accessories for blockages. D. Check if the separating block is not blocked. See "Removing the separating block." WARNING: The vacuum cleaner is used for short periods. If the thermostat trips, the vacuum cleaner will shut off to prevent damage. If this happens, turn off the vacuum cleaner, unplug it, and fix the problem. It may take about 45 minutes for the thermostat to reset automatically.

TROUBLESHOOTING CHECKLIST

Before calling for service, check the following troubleshooting checklist to ensure that your Hoover product is working properly. - Is the vacuum cleaner plugged into a working electrical outlet? If not, check with another electrical device. - Is the dust compartment full? If so, empty it. See "Emptying the vacuum cleaner." - Is the filter dirty? If so, clean it. See "Cleaning the vacuum cleaner." - Is the filter or the HEPA filter blocked? If so, clean it. See "Clearing blockages from the system." - Is the vacuum cleaner overheated? If so, it may take about 30 minutes for the thermostat to reset automatically.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pull out the power cord to the required length and plug it into the electrical outlet. It is forbidden to pull the cord beyond the red mark! [4]
  2. Install the telescope tube onto the hose, adjusting the telescope tube length, then attach the appropriate nozzle to the tube. [5]

TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE OF THE VACUUM CLEANER

Cleaning the dust container

Empty the dust container when it is filled to the maximum level indicated by the indicator. The container must be cleaned. ATTENTION! Regular cleaning ensures productivity and prevents the dust container from overflowing above the maximum level. 1. Turn off the vacuum cleaner using the power button and unplug the power cord from the outlet. 2. Press the container release button and remove the container from the vacuum cleaner. [8] 3. Hold the container over a trash bin with one hand, remove the lid from it, and pour out the contents. [9] 4. Remove the pre-filter and rinse it under running water. [10] 5. Remove the cyclone nozzle from the container. [11] 6. Pour out the dust from the container. [12] 7. Install the cyclone nozzle and the pre-filter back, and rinse them if necessary. 8. Put the lid back on the container and install it back.

9.3 Remove the filter and return it to the container in the pump head body.

Cleaning the filter, maintenance

It is forbidden to use the pump without a filter installed. To ensure optimal product performance, regularly check the filters and remove them from the suction tank for cleaning. The filters must be cleaned at least every 5 emptyings of the container, or more often if the filter accumulates dirt.

ATTENTION! For all pump versions with a filter, regular cleaning is essential. The filter can become clogged, which may lead to a reduction in flow rate, reduced pump performance. This may also lead to loss of warranty.

ATTENTION! Regularly check the filters and clean them.

ATTENTION! It is recommended to dry the filters before use.

Removing the filters:

  1. Remove the container for collecting dirt from the pump. [8]
  2. Holding the container with the collected dirt with one hand, remove the lid from it by turning it counterclockwise. [9]
  3. Remove the filter from the container. [10]
  4. Carefully tap and rinse the filter. It is recommended to use running water or a mild detergent. Rinse the filter thoroughly and let it dry before reuse. [13][17]
  5. After drying the filter, place it back in the container and install the container in the pump.

Installing the filter in the following steps:

  1. Screw the filter cap into the rear part of the pump head body. [14]
  2. Remove the filter from the pump. [15]
  3. Rinse the dust filter with clean water. It is forbidden to rinse it with any detergents. Remove the dust filter and let it dry before reuse. [16][17]
  4. After drying, put the filter back in place and close the lid. WARNING! Using the vacuum cleaner without the filter installed is prohibited!

Cleaning the dust container/Cleaning the filter

The vacuum cleaner uses a filter system. If necessary, it can be cleaned.

  2. Remove the cyclone filter from the container by turning it counterclockwise. [9]
  3. Remove the lid from the dust container by turning it counterclockwise. Remove the foam filter that is located in the container. [10] Then remove the pre-filter from the container by pulling it. [11]. 4. If necessary, clean the pre-filter with a brush. Install the internal components of the dust container.
  4. Install the lid on the dust container. Install the motor protection filter in the vacuum cleaner body.

Replacing the filter

  1. Make sure the filter is clean. If not, see "Cleaning the dust container".
  2. If the dust container is full, but the suction power is low; A. Check the filters? If so, see "Cleaning the filters that can be washed".

WARNING! If the vacuum cleaner is used with a dirty filter for a long time, the thermal protection may activate, which will reduce the suction power. Turn off the vacuum cleaner and unplug it for 30 minutes. The thermal protection will automatically reset after cooling.
