How to set the time on the TFA 60.2015 radio alarm clock?

In time mode, press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds until the hour flashes. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the hour, then press MODE to move to minutes. Set the minutes with UP/DOWN and confirm with MODE.

How to set the alarm?

Press MODE twice in time mode to access the alarm setting. Press and hold MODE: the hour flashes. Adjust the hour with UP/DOWN, press MODE for minutes, set and confirm. Press UP in time mode to activate/deactivate the alarm (symbol shown/hidden).

How to use the snooze function?

When the alarm sounds, press the LIGHT/SNZ button to activate snooze. The snooze icon flashes and the alarm stops for 8 minutes, then sounds again.

How to stop the alarm?

Press any button (except LIGHT/SNZ) to stop the alarm. It will automatically reactivate at the set time the next day if not deactivated via the UP button in time mode.

How to display temperature in degrees Fahrenheit?

Press the DOWN button to toggle between °C and °F units. The display changes immediately.

How to view the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity values?

Press the MAX/MIN button: one press shows the maximum values (MAX), a second press shows the minimum values (MIN), a third returns to normal display. The values reset automatically every day at midnight.

What does the weather symbol on the screen mean?

The weather symbol is based on temperature and humidity readings. It can indicate: sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy or rainy. It does not come from an external sensor.

How to clean the radio alarm clock?

Use a soft, damp cloth (no solvents or abrasives). Remove the batteries if the device is not used for a long period and store it in a dry place.

What to do if the screen does not turn on?

Check the battery polarity (respect the + and - signs). If batteries are low, replace all three with new AAA 1.5 V batteries. If the problem persists, contact the seller.

How to change the batteries?

Open the battery compartment on the back of the device. Remove the old batteries and insert three new AAA 1.5 V batteries, observing polarity (+/-). Close the compartment. A beep confirms power on.

6. Getting started

• Open the battery compartment and insert three new batteries 1,5 V AAA. Ensure that the battery polarities are correct.
• The device will alert you with a beep and all LCD segments will be displayed for a short moment.

6.1 Note:

• For better adjustment of the device, press the LIGHT/ SNZ button to turn on the backlight for 8 seconds.
• As soon as the backlight turns off, first press the LIGHT/SNZ button and then the setting button.

7. How to operate

7.1 Setting of the clock

• Press and hold MODE button for three seconds in the time mode.
  • The hour digits will be flashing.
• Press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the hours.
• Press the MODE button again and you can adjust the minutes with the UP or DOWN button.
• Confirm the setting with the MODE button.
  • The display shows the current time.

7.2 Setting of the date

• Press the MODE button again in the time mode.
  • The date appears on the display.
• Press and hold MODE button.
  • The year indication will be flashing.
• Press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the year.
• Press the MODE button to make the settings in the following sequence: Month and day. Press UP or DOWN button to adjust it.
• Confirm the setting with the MODE button.
• Press the MODE button twice to return to the current time.

7.3 Setting of the alarm time

• Press MODE button twice in time mode.
• The alarm symbol (and a time (default) appear on the display.
• Press and hold MODE button.
  • The hour digits will be flashing.
• Press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the hours.
• Press the MODE button again and you can adjust the minutes with the UP or DOWN button.

• Confirm the setting with the MODE button.
  • The display shows the alarm time.
• To activate or deactivate the alarm function press the UP button in time mode.
• The alarm symbol appears or disappears on the display.
• Once the alarm starts to ring, you can stop the alarm by pressing any button.
• You can activate the snooze function by pressing the LIGHT/SNZ button.
  • will be flashing and the alarm will be interrupted for 8 minutes.
• If it is not stopped manually, the alarm will automatically turn off after certain minutes and will be reactivated at the same time

7.4 Setting of the 12 and 24 hours display

• Press an hold the UP button to choose 12 HR or 24 HR system.
• In 12 HR system AM or PM appears on the display (post meridiem).

7.5 Temperature display

- Press the DOWN button to select temperature display in °C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit) as the temperature unit.

7.6 Reading of the alarm time and date

- Press MODE button in time mode to show the adjusted alarm time and the date.

7.7 Maximum/Minimum function

- Press the MAXIMIN button to show the maximum values (MAX) of the indoor temperature and humidity.

• Press the MAX/MIN button again to show minimum (MIN) values of the indoor temperature and humidity.
• Press the MAXIMIN button again to return to the time mode.
• There is an automatic reset of maximum and minimum values (midnight 0:00).

7.8 Comfort level

- On the display appears a Smiley to indicate the comfort level.

DRY: < 40%
COMFORT: 40 ... 70%; 20 °C...25 °C
☺ WET: > 70%
No display: 40 ... 70%; < 20 °C / > 25 °C

• The 4 weather icons (sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy and rainy) represent the weather.
• The instrument has no atmospheric pressure sensor. The weather symbol is based on the current temperature and humidity values.

8. Care and maintenance

- Clean your instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.

• Remove the batteries if you do not use the product for a long period of time.
• Keep the instrument in a dry place.

8.1 Battery replacement

• Change the batteries when the functions of the instrument becomes weak.
• Open the battery compartment and insert three new batteries 1,5 V AAA. Ensure that the battery polarities are correct.
• Close the battery compartment again.
