How to assemble the base of the VT4538 fan?

Loosen the locking nut on the base by turning it counterclockwise. Place it over the power cord, thread the cord through the central gap between the two base halves, then connect the halves by pushing the pegs into the slots. Tighten the nut clockwise.

How to clean the V-TAC VT4538 fan?

Use a soft cloth dampened with soapy water to remove dust and stains. Then wipe with a dry cloth. Never use solvents like thinner or gasoline.

What are the available speeds?

The fan has 3 speeds: speed 1 (low), speed 2 (medium), speed 3 (high). Position 0 is off.

How to activate oscillation?

Select one of the 3 speeds using the switch. Oscillation is on the same 3-speed switch; make sure it is in the oscillating position (usually by turning the knob to the oscillation icon).

How to use the timer?

Turn the timer (60 minutes) to the desired duration. The fan will automatically stop after the set time. Make sure to select a speed before setting the timer.

Can I use the fan continuously without the timer?

Yes, just don't use the timer. Simply set the desired speed and the fan will run continuously until you turn it off.

How to store the fan in winter?

First clean it with a soft cloth and soapy water, dry it, then pack it in a vinyl bag. Store it in a cool, dry place.

What to do if the fan does not turn on?

First check that the power cord is plugged in and the switch is set to a speed. Make sure the timer is not in the '0' (off) position. If the problem persists, contact your dealer.

1. Loosen the base locking nut from the bottom of the unit by turning it anticlockwise. Put it down the length of the power cord.
2. Run the power cord through the central gap between the two halves of the un-assembled base.
3. Connect two halves by pushing the plastic pegs on each half into the corresponding slots on the other half.

IMPORTANT: Make sure that the power cord passes through the guides on the rear half of the base.

1. Pull up the base locking nut and tighten it clockwise.

3. After the fan is cleaned then pack it into a vinyl bag and store it in a dry place.
