Frequently Asked Questions - WA3505 WORX

How to charge the Worx WA3505 battery?
Use only a genuine Worx charger. Plug the charger into a wall outlet, insert the battery, and let it charge fully before first use. The battery can be charged at any time without affecting its lifespan.
How long does it take to charge the battery?
Charging time depends on the charger used and the battery's discharge state. Refer to the charger manual for specific details. Generally, a full charge takes 1 to 2 hours with a standard charger.
How do I know if the battery is fully charged?
Most Worx chargers have an LED indicator. A green or solid light typically means charging is complete. Refer to the charger manual for the exact color code.
Can I use this battery with other tool brands?
No, this battery is designed exclusively for Worx 20 V cordless tools. Using it with other brands may cause safety risks and damage the tool or battery.
What to do if the battery gets hot during charging?
It is normal for the battery to warm slightly. If it becomes too hot to touch, disconnect it immediately and let it cool in a dry, ventilated area. Recharge only when the temperature is between 0 °C and 45 °C.
How to store the battery long-term?
Store it in a dry, cool place away from sunlight, between 0 °C and 45 °C. Ideally, keep it with a partial charge (about 50%) and recharge it every 3 to 6 months to maintain performance.
Why does my tool stop suddenly?
This is normal: the battery has deep discharge protection. When voltage becomes too low, a protection device automatically cuts off power. Recharge the battery to continue using the tool.
Can I charge the battery after partial use?
Yes, lithium-ion batteries have no memory effect. You can recharge them at any time, even after a short use, without reducing their lifespan.
How to clean the battery?
Use a soft, clean, dry brush to clean the ventilation slots. Never use water, solvents, or abrasive products. Ensure the battery remains dry and clean.
How to recycle the battery at end of life?
Never throw the battery in household waste. Place it at a local collection point, recycling center, or return it to a participating retailer. Follow local regulations.

  1. Your battery pack is UNCHARGED. To ensure full capacity of the battery, completely charge the battery in the battery charger before using your

power tool for the first time.

  1. A battery pack will slowly lose its charge when kept out of the charger or left in an unplugged charger for a long time. It may need to be recharged before use.

The Li-Ion battery is protected against deep discharging. When the battery is empty, the machine is switched off by means of a protective circuit: The tool no longer rotates. In a warm environment or after heavy use, the battery pack may become too hot to permit charging. Allow time for the battery to cool down before recharging. The Li-Ion battery can be charged at any time without reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging procedure does not damage the battery.
