- An adult must perform the installation.
- An adult must check the stability after installation.
- Only install the swing as described in these instructions, other methods of fastening may damage the cord or the holding element.
- An adult must inspect the fastening of the cords, the knots in the cord beneath the swing unit, the hooks and the rings before each use. Discontinue use of the swing as soon as the fastening element of the swing becomes brittle and you can see the metal on the inside.
- Do not use the swing near stairs.
- The product may only ever be used by one person.
- Fasten the swing leaving enough space from other objects so that no one can be injured. Pay attention to the radius that the swing makes when it swings.
- Make sure that there are no hard objects or objects with sharp edges in the area of the swing.
- Do not fasten the swing over concrete, asphalt or any other hard surfaces.
- Use the appropriate fastening material (see Swing Assembly) for each installation in wooden or metal equipment as well as in concrete ceilings.
- The fastening hooks must be completely inserted through the wood and fixed by a locknut from above when fastening into wooden equipment or wooden beams. Swing Assembly Tip Only fasten the swing to equipment for which you can guarantee adequate strength with absolute confidence. To prevent unintentional detachment use 10mm strength screw hooks minimum for assembly, which are bent by at least 540° or which are completely closed. The fastening hooks must be complete- ly inserted through the wood and fixed by a locknut from above in wooden beams to accomplish an adequately secure connection.6 GB/IE Different fastening hooks Only fasten the swing unit to an appropriate retention system. These are: No. 1: a closed retaining grommet, which is secured to the swing element by a carabiner (Fig. A). No. 2: a circular hook, which is bent by at least 540° to prevent unintentional detachment (Fig. B).
(1) Tip! The eye of the retaining grommet (1) must be attached at a right angle to the direction of the swing so that the fastening element of the swing is not damaged too much during use. Discontinue use of the swing as soon as the fastening element shows fractures or cracks on the upper grommet (Fig. C). C7GB/IE Height adjustment of the swing unit The height of the seat can be adjusted by means of the ring at the top of the swing. It pulls itself tight again (Fig. D) after you have adjusted the length of the cord (Fig. E).
Adjust the length of both ropes so that the swing is absolutely balanced (Fig. G).
