How to preheat the Crispier 5.5 air fryer?

Select a preset program, then press the Preheat button. You can adjust the desired temperature with the +/- buttons. Press Start to begin preheating. When the temperature is reached, the appliance emits 5 beeps and displays "Add Food".

What to do if food is not cooked evenly?

Make sure not to overfill the basket. Shake or turn the food halfway through cooking when the "Shake basket" reminder sounds. This ensures even cooking.

Can I use oil in the air fryer?

Yes, but in very small quantities. Brush or spray a little oil on the food before or halfway through cooking for a crispier result. Never pour oil into the tank.

How to clean the appliance?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Clean the basket and tank with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use sharp objects or steel wool.

The air fryer emits white smoke, is this normal?

Yes, it's normal if you are cooking fatty foods. Oil can drip into the tank and produce white smoke. This does not affect the appliance or the result.

Can I put the basket and tank in the dishwasher?

The manual does not recommend the dishwasher. It is better to wash them by hand with a soft sponge to preserve the non-stick coating.

What to do if the appliance does not start?

Check that the power cord is properly plugged in and that the tank and basket are correctly inserted into the main unit. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

How to adjust temperature and time manually?

Press the TEM TIME button to switch between temperature and time. Use the +/- buttons to adjust. Then press Start/Pause to start cooking.

How long to cook frozen fries?

Use the Fries preset program (temperature 200 °C, time 18 minutes). Shake the basket halfway through for even results. Adjust according to your recipe.

Why is the "Shake basket" reminder not working?

The reminder only activates if the cooking time is more than 3 minutes. In manual mode, it sounds halfway through; in preset mode, at 2/3 of the time. If the time is too short, the reminder does not trigger.

• This product is intended for indoor, non-industrial, non-commercial household use only.
• This appliance shall not be used by children from 0 year to 8 years. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they are continuously supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years. This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children. Children shall not play with the appliance.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Please turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning, maintenance or relocation and whenever it is not in use.
• The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.

• After being used for a long time, the corresponding heating zone of the induction hot plate is still hot. Never touch the ceramic surface to avoid burning.

- Do not immerse any part of the appliance in water or other liquid.

- Never immerse the housing, which contains electrical components and the heating elements, in water nor rinse under the tap.

- Do not let any water or other liquid enter the appliance to prevent electric shock.

- Do not cover the air inlet and the air outlet openings while the appliance is operating.

- Never touch the inside of the appliance while it is operating.

- Keep the main cord away from hot surfaces.

- Never connect this appliance to an external timer switch or separate remote-control system in order to avoid a hazardous situation.

- Immediately unplug the appliance if you see dark smoke coming out of the appliance. Wait for the smoke emission to stop before you remove the pan from the appliance.

- Please pay attention to scald where there is a high temperature symbol.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR YOUR AIRFRYER

• Always put the ingredients to be fried in the basket, to prevent it from coming in contact with the heating elements.
• Do not fill the pan with oil as this may cause a fire hazard.
• During airfrying, hot steam is released through the air outlet. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and from the air outlet openings. Also be careful of hot steam and air when you remove the pan from the appliance.

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels.
2. Clean the basket and pan with hot water, soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
3. Wipe the inside and outside with a clean cloth.
4. Place the appliance on a flat and even surface.

NOTE: There is no need to fill the pan with oil or fat because the appliance works on hot air.

HOW TO USE

1. Plug in the unit, press ON/OFF button to start.
2. To select a pre-set program, just press the corresponding button and press start/pause to start the program. To pre heat the airfryer, press the button of your chosen preset before pressing preheat.
3. To manually adjust the temperature and time press ☑ to switch between temperature and time, and use the +/- buttons to adjust.
4. Press the start/pause ⏻ button to start or stop cooking.
5. Unplug the unit after use.

PREHEAT FUNCTION

Select and press your preferred function and press the preheat button. Select your wanted temperature by pressing +/- buttons, and press start. When the wanted temperature has been reached, the reminder will alert you with 5 beeps, and "Add" "Food" shows on the display.

Remark: Preheat function need to go with another menu function.

WORKING MODE

After selecting a preset or preferred time and degree, press start button to get started. When the cooking operation is finished, the airfryer alert you with 5 beeps. The display shows "done", and the unit will go into sleep mode if you don't take any more actions.

SHAKE REMINDER

The shake reminder will alert you with 5 beeps, and "turn" "Food" will blink on the display. The alert will stop when you take the pan out.

The shake reminder is programmed to alert halfway through the cooking when set on manual, and 2/3 of the total cooking time of the presets.

When the cooking time is less than 3 minutes, the alert will not go off.

PRE-SET FUNCTION

With the pre-set function you can set a delayed start. After choosing a function, you can press the pre-set button ⏻ → Ⓗ and set a delayed start up to 24 hours, use the +/- buttons to adjust to your preferred time.

Remark: You need to select a function before pressing the pre-set button.

CLEANING

• Please clean the airfryer to prevent leftover food/food residue from being burned.
• After using, please clean the frying basket and pan in time to avoid the damage of the coating due to erosion of food residue or oil.
• Wipe the outside of the airfryer with a moist cloth
• Clean the pan and basket with hot water, soap and a non-abrasive sponge. You can remove any remaining food debris by using degreasing liquid soap. Tip: If there is food debris stuck to the basket or bottom of the pan, soak the pan in hot water and soap for about 10 minutes.
• Clean the inside of the appliance with hot water and a non-abrasive sponge. NOTE: Be sure not to get too much water inside the appliance, you are just wiping it down to get rid of any food debris and grease.
• Clean the heating element with a cleaning brush to remove any food debris.
• Do not use hard and sharp items (such as steel wool, sharp tools etc) to clean the basket and pan.

TIPS AND TRICKS

• Use your airfryer to reheat your leftovers, It will make them as crispy as they were fresh.
• Brush or spray some oil on the ingredients before or halfway through airfrying for an even crispier result. Spray or brush any dry flour spots that still appear halfway through airfrying.
• Small ingredients often require slightly shorter cooking time, and larger ingredients often require slightly longer cooking time.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The fryer does not start	The airfryer is not plugged in.	Plug in the power cord.
	The pan and basket is not fully inserted.	Make sure the pan and basket is correctly assembled and inserted in the main unit.
The ingredients are not cooked properly	The basket is too full.	Use smaller batches of ingredients in the basket to fry them evenly

The ingredients are fried unevenly	You did not flip or shake the ingredients halfway	Ingredients that lie across each other need to be shaken or turned halfway through.
The food is not crispy	The airfryer did not preheat	Preheat airfryer 3-5 minutes.
	The type of ingredients is meant for frying in oil	Try to brush or spray oil onto the ingredients before airfrying.
White smoke is coming out of the fryer	You are preparing greasy ingredients.	With greasy food, oil can leak into the pan. Oil makes the makes the white smoke, but it will not affect the appliance or the end result.
