Cleaning & maintenance tips

• Clean the Bugaboo stand with a sponge, luke warm water and some mild detergent and wipe off any remaining water with a dry cloth.
  • The under seat basket is detachable and machine washable.

IMPORTANT: Always check the fabric label before washing.

• do not use bleach or aggressive detergents
- do not tumble dry
- do not iron
- do not dry clean
• always wash separately

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY COVER?

This warranty covers any defects in the wheels, frame and car seat adapters, zippers, harnesses, seams in the covering, Velcro, and colorfastness of your Bugaboo product, with the exceptions stated below.

WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY NOT COVER?

This warranty does not cover claims and damage from:

• Normal wear and tear,
- Misuse such as, but not limited to, improper storage and product care,
- Maintenance and use other than that indicated in the user guide,
- Failure to follow the instructions in the user guide,
• Abuse, neglect, carelessness, or accident,
- Caused by the modification or alteration of the product,
• Air transportation or freight damage,
• Damage to tires such as holes or tears, and
- Incorrect mounting or installation of third party parts that are incompatible with the product.

This warranty does not cover a Bugaboo product whose serial number has been damaged or removed. This warranty only covers damage and defects and does not extend to claims that you may have regarding dissatisfaction with the product in terms of its fit, weight, functionality, color or design. This warranty is limited to consumers - buyers of the product for their personal use or personal family or household purposes. This warranty does not extend to unauthorized purchasers of the product intended for resale or for purchasers who intend to use this product for commercial use such as rental of the product to others.

WHAT IS THE PERIOD OF COVERAGE?

This warranty remains in force for two years from the date of purchase as long as you are the original purchaser who owns the Bugaboo product. You must keep your receipt as proof of the date of purchase. Replacement or repaired parts will only be warranted for the remaining period of the original warranty.

WHAT WILL WE DO TO CORRECT PROBLEMS?

We will repair your Bugaboo product at no cost to you, or if repair is not possible, replace the product. We will pay for transportation from and to the retailer that will service your Bugaboo product, as long as the repair or replacement is covered by this warranty. Bugaboo reserves the right to stop manufacturing a particular model, color, fabric or accessory, and therefore it will replace a part with a similar product, color or fabric during the period of this warranty.

HOW CAN YOU GET SERVICE?

To obtain service for your Bugaboo product, contact the retailer from which you purchased the product. If the retailer is unable to arrange for the service of your product or if Bugaboo was your retailer, you can contact our Customer Support Team using our online contact form (www.bugaboo.com/support).

When you submit a claim for service, you must provide a copy of the purchase receipt, a description of the issue with the product, and the product and/or photographs of the product or part which is broken or not working properly.

HOW WILL STATE LAW AFFECT YOUR CUSTOMER'S RIGHTS UNDER THIS WARRANTY?

To the extent permitted by law, this warranty is exclusive and in lieu of any other warranty, written or oral, including but not limited to any express warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The duration of any implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is expressly limited to this warranty period.

Your exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty or of any implied warranty or of any other obligation arising by operation of law or otherwise shall be limited as

specified herein to repair or replacement, at our sole option. Responsibility for incidental or consequential damages is expressly excluded.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights that vary from state to state or province to province. Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and/or do not allow an exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.

MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY (FOR AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND ONLY)

As the manufacturer, Bugaboo International BV, which has its principal place of business in Amsterdam ("Bugaboo"), supplies the Bugaboo stroller ("product") under warranty, subject to the following conditions:

1. Bugaboo's warranty period is 24 months, from the date of purchase as indicated on the sales receipt. The remaining warranty period for the original product will apply for a replacement part or product or a repaired product.
2. Bugaboo's warranty applies only in the region (USA and Canada or Europe or Russia or Australia and New Zealand or Asia) in which the product was purchased. Bugaboo warrants that the product will be in compliance only with the statutory provisions and/or government regulations that apply in the region in which the product was sold. Bugaboo reserves the right to apply a different warranty for other regions.
3. Bugaboo's warranty provides a right to repair unless Bugaboo is of the opinion that replacement or return of the product is necessary. Bugaboo will bear the expense and risk of transport from and to the retailer ("the retailer") where you purchased the product, if the repair is covered by manufacturer's warranty.

4. To claim under Bugaboo's warranty you must provide Bugaboo with the following:

5. a copy of the dated purchase receipt,

6. a clear description of the complaint and

7. the defective product and/or photographs of the defective part or product.

8. Bugaboo's warranty is not transferable and may therefore only be invoked by the first owner.

9. Bugaboo's warranty does not affect any statutory rights you may have, for example the right to hold the retailer accountable for defects.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THE MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY?

Bugaboo's warranty applies in respect of the product and covers the following:

• all manufacturing defects in the frame;
- all manufacturing defects in the adapters;
- zippers;
• seams in the covering;

• velcro; and
• colour fastness.

THE MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY WILL BE VOID IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES:

• If you have made or arranged for modifications or repairs to be made without first having received written permission from Bugaboo or the retailer.
• Defects resulting from neglect or an accident and/or from any use or maintenance other than that indicated in the user guide.
  • If the serial number has been damaged or removed.
  • Damage to the product caused by normal wear and tear.
• Incorrect mounting or installation of third-party parts that are incompatible with the product.
• Inadvertent or unintentional damage, abnormal use or insufficient care.
• Improper storage / product care.
  • Holes or tears in the tires.
• Damage due to improper use or due to failure to follow user guide.
• Damage due to repairs carried out by unauthorized persons or due to improper disassembly of the product.
• Transport damage (during air transport or other modes of transport): carefully inspect your product after it was shipped by the airline (or other carrier) and in case of any damage immediately file a claim with the carrier.
• Customer dissatisfaction with the product in terms of fit, weight, functionality, colour or design.

IMPORTANT

The manufacturer's warranty period for this product is 24 months from the purchase date indicated on the sales receipt. Save the sales receipt in a safe place and make a copy of it. If you submit a claim under this manufacturer's warranty you must first contact your retailer. If your retailer is unable to repair the defect or if you have purchased the product directly from Bugaboo, you can contact our Customer Support Team using our online contact form (www.bugaboo.com/support).

For complaints that arise outside the manufacturer's warranty period you must also contact your retailer.

Bugaboo reserves the right to amend these manufacturer's warranty provisions. You can find the most up-to-date manufacturer's warranty provisions on our website: www.bugaboo.com/warranty.

FOR AUSTRALIA ONLY

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. You should ask the retailer about these.

WARNINGS and useful safety information

IMPORTANT! READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE! FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS.

PRODUCT IN GENERAL

1. Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in serious injury or death.
2. Do not assemble or use the Bugaboo stand until you have read the user guide.
3. Do not use the Bugaboo stand if any part of the stand is broken, torn or missing.
4. To avoid injury ensure that your child is kept away when installing, folding or unfolding the Bugaboo stand.
5. Ensure all fingers and appendages are clear of the Bugaboo stand when mounting the Bugaboo infant carrier bassinet/seat.
6. Ensure that all the locking devices are correctly engaged before use.
7. The Bugaboo stand is compatible with the Bugaboo Cameleon 3, Bugaboo Donkey, Bugaboo Donkey 2, Bugaboo Donkey 3, Bugaboo Fox and Bugaboo Fox 2 seats and infant carrier bassinets, produced after December 2014.
8. To avoid danger of suffocation to babies and children dispose of plastics bags and packaging immediately.
9. Use the Bugaboo stand only on a firm ground which is horizontal, level and dry. Never use on soft or elevated surfaces.
10. Do not let your child play with the Bugaboo stand.
11. Do not let other children play unattended near the Bugaboo stand.

12. Do not allow a child to jump on the Bugaboo stand.

13. When not using the Bugaboo stand, store it away from children.

14. The use of the Bugaboo organizer and Bugaboo parasol is not recommended as these products could affect the stability of the Bugaboo stand.

1. The Bugaboo stand in combination with the seat (high chair) is suitable for children from 6 to 36 months (17 kg/37.5 lbs).
2. Maximum weight for the under seat bag is 4 kg (8.8 lbs).
3. Use only manufacturer recommended weights in the under seat bag otherwise the product may become unstable.
4. The product will become unstable if the manufacturer's recommended load is exceeded.

II USING THE BASSINET ON THE BUGABOO STAND

1. The bassinet is not intended for use by children older than 6 months or children who can sit unaided.
2. The bassinet is suitable only for a child who cannot sit unaided, roll over and cannot push itself up on its hands and knees. Maximum weight of the child: 9 kg (20 lb).
3. FALL HAZARD—To help prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 9 kg (20 lbs) weight, whichever comes first.
4. FALL HAZARD: Always check that the bassinet is securely locked on the Bugaboo stand by pulling upwards on the bassinet bed.
5. SUFFOCATION HAZARD Infants have suffocated:

- In gaps between an extra pad and the side of the bassinet.

- On soft bedding. NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding.

Use ONLY the mattress pad, mattress cover and sheet provided by Bugaboo.

1. To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.
2. Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Do not suspend strings over a bassinet or attach strings to toys.

1. Do not use the Bugaboo footmuff, Bugaboo performance winter footmuff, Bugaboo blanket or Bugaboo rain cover while the bassinet is on the Bugaboo stand.

III USING THE SEAT ON THE BUGABOO STAND (HIGH CHAIR)

1. ⚠ WARNING. Prevent serious injury or death by falls or sliding out.
2. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Do not leave children unattended. Stay near near and watch child during use.
4. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the restraint system.
5. The harness must always be used and correctly fitted - most injuries from high chairs are caused by falls.
6. Always remove the carry handle from the seat unit when attached to the Bugaboo stand.
7. Position the high chair away from solid structures and benches to avoid injuries caused by falls and by access to dangerous items.
8. The child should be secured in the high chair at all times by the restraining system, either in the reclining or upright position. It is recommended that the high chair be used in the upright position only by children capable of sitting upright unassisted.
9. Check that the seat unit attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.
10. When not in use disconnect shoulder straps from waist strap buckle.
11. Do not allow a child to sleep in the high chair.
12. Use the high chair on a flat, even and horizontal floor and not to elevate the high chair on any structure or table
13. Do not allow a child to stand up in the high chair.
14. To reduce the risk of injury, position the high chair away from furniture, walls, hot surfaces and liquids, window covering cords, and electrical cords and position the high chair away from furniture when the chair is not being used at a table with a tray removed.
15. The high chair should only be used in an upright position once the child is capable of reliably and consistently sitting upright.
16. Inspect and maintain the high chair regularly.
17. Do not to use the high chair if it is not working correctly and seek repair.
