want and the number of eggs, fill the measuring cup(4) up to the appropri- ate mark with water: hard boiled egg medium boiled egg soft boiled egg One egg symbol represents one egg; two egg symbols next to each other represent two eggs.

The marks on the measuring cup merely give guidelines. The amount of water required for the hardness level you want may vary slightly depending on the size of the eggs and the temperature they are stored at. If the eggs have become too soft, more water is required. If the eggs are too hard, the amount of water should be reduced.

3. Pour the water from the measuring cup

into the heating bowl(5).

4. Place the insert(2) on the heating

5. Prick the egg(s) at the blunt end with

the egg pricker (on the bottom of the measuring cup) (PictureC) so that they do not burst open when they are boiled.

6. Place the egg(s) in the insert and put

on the lid(1) (PictureD).

7. Fully unwind the connecting cable

and plug the mains plug into the plug socket.

8. To switch on the egg cooker, press the

On / Off button(6) (PictureE). The op- erating lamp indicates that the heating bowl is heating, which brings the water to the boil.

The boiling process can be stopped at any time by pressing the On / Off button again.

9. When the boiling process has ended, a

beep is heard. Press the On / Off button to switch off the egg cooker. The operating lamp goes out.

10. Pull the mains plug out of the plug

11. Carefully take off the lid.

egg(s) by holding the handle.
