Frequently Asked Questions - 02088 Maxxmee

How do I use the Maxxmee 02088 egg cooker?
Fill the measuring cup with water according to the number of eggs and desired doneness (hard-boiled, soft-boiled, boiled). Pour the water into the heating tank, place the holder, pierce the eggs with the egg piercer, place them on the holder, cover, plug in the appliance, and press the start button. An audible signal indicates the end of cooking.
How much water should I add?
Use the provided measuring cup. The markings indicate the amount of water for one or two eggs, for each type of doneness (hard, soft, boiled). Adjust according to egg size and temperature.
Why is it necessary to pierce the eggs before cooking?
Piercing the eggs at the base with the integrated egg piercer under the measuring cup prevents them from bursting during cooking.
What to do if the appliance does not turn on?
Check that the plug is properly inserted and the socket works. Check the fuse. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.
How to clean the egg cooker?
Wipe the housing and cord with a damp cloth. Other parts (lid, holder, measuring cup) can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot water and dish soap. Dry all parts before storing.
How to descale the appliance?
Use a commercial descaler following the instructions. Pour it into the heating tank, let it sit, then empty and rinse. Then run a cooking cycle with water only (no eggs) to remove residues.
Can I use non-original accessories?
No, use only original manufacturer accessories to ensure proper operation and avoid damage.
What to do if the eggs burst during cooking?
Make sure to pierce the eggs before cooking. If the problem persists, reduce the amount of water or use eggs at room temperature.
The appliance beeps: what does it mean?
The beep indicates that cooking is complete. Press the on/off button to turn off the appliance and unplug it before removing the lid.
Where can I find spare parts?
Contact after-sales service via the manufacturer's website to order spare parts or accessories.

The marks on the measuring cup merely give guidelines. The amount of water required for the hardness level you want may vary slightly depending on the size of the eggs and the temperature they are stored at. If the eggs have become too soft, more water is required. If the eggs are too hard, the amount of water should be reduced.

  2. Place the insert (2) on the heating bowl.

  3. Prick the egg(s) at the blunt end with the egg pricker (on the bottom of the measuring cup) (Picture C) so that they do not burst open when they are boiled.
