Frequently Asked Questions - MCC25 Mestic

How to set the temperature on the Mestic MCC25?
Unlock the screen by holding the unlock button for 2 seconds. Then use the + or - buttons to set the temperature between -20 °C and 20 °C. The screen stops flashing after 3 seconds, confirming the setting.
How to use the battery protection?
Unlock the screen, then press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds to enter the protection setting mode. Press SET to choose between H (high), M (medium) or L (low). The factory setting is H. If the cooler is connected to a vehicle, use H to avoid draining the starter battery.
What does error code F1 on the screen mean?
Code F1 indicates low battery protection. This means the battery voltage is too low. Recharge the battery or lower the battery protection level (e.g., switch from H to M).
Can I use the 230 V mains adapter with the MCC25?
Yes, a 230 V mains adapter is available as an option (reference 1502950). Never plug both power sources (12 V and 230 V) at the same time.
How to defrost the cooler?
Remove the food, turn off the appliance and open the lid. Let the frost melt, then wipe off the water or use the drain plug to drain the melt water. Dry thoroughly before turning back on.
How to clean the Mestic MCC25?
Unplug the appliance, remove the food, and clean the inside and outside with a slightly damp cloth. If necessary, use a non-aggressive detergent. Dry all surfaces with a dry cloth. Never use abrasive or sharp products.
Can I charge my phone via the USB port?
Yes, the USB port provides an output of 5 V / 2.1 A, ideal for charging smartphones, tablets or other digital devices.
What to do if the cooler does not cool?
First check that the appliance is properly powered and the set temperature is low enough. Then check the error codes on the screen. If a code appears, refer to the error table in the manual. Errors F2 to F8 usually require a power cut of 30 minutes before restart. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
The cooler turns off by itself, what to do?
This may be due to the battery protection. If the battery voltage drops below the set threshold (H, M or L), the appliance turns off automatically. Recharge the battery or lower the protection level. If the battery is properly charged, check the error codes.
What is the power consumption of the MCC25?
The consumption is 0.24 kWh per 24 hours in normal operation. The rated power is 60 W, with a current of 5 A at 12 V or 2.5 A at 24 V.

Battery check

  1. Battery protection function for the cooler with three-class battery protection function, can automatically check the battery voltage of the vehicle, before the electricity consumption will affect the normal functions of the car. The cool box will stop automatically to ensure that the car's battery does not run out.
  2. Method for adjusting the battery protection: Unlock the cool box by holding down the release button after which you press and hold SET for 3 seconds to show the current battery protection position of the refrigerator. By tapping the SET button, it is adjusted to the desired H-high, M-middle or L-low. The factory setting is H-high.
  3. Battery protection voltage parameter value and the remaining power is displayed on the screen.
