Maximum load weight: 4kg Intended use This product was developed as a school backpack set incl. sports bag for private use. The product is suitable for transporting items with a maximum load weight of 6kg (school backpack)/4kg (sports bag). Safety information

• Never leave children unattended with the packaging materials. There is a risk of suffocation.

• Do not exceed the max. load weight of 6kg/4kg.

• Do not transport any unpackaged foodstuffs in this product.

• Do not leave wet objects inside the product for extended periods of time.

• The product must not be used to carry people or animals. Using the school backpack Open the product and load up to 6kg. Use the product as a backpack. Opening and closing the product Gently pull the loop of the school backpack cover downward and then open up the cover. Fold the cover down to close the product. Note: the cover snaps closed automatically. Adjusting the height-adjustable carrying system The height-adjustable carrying system is used for adjusting the height of the product on the wearer’s back. Note: the school backpack should be initially adjusted with the help of a second person and once correctly adjusted only needs to be checked at regular intervals to see if the height still matches the back.

1. Fill the product with a maximum weight of 6kg.

2. Open the chest strap and hip strap and loosen

the shoulder straps.

3. Help to put on the product.

4. Adjust the height of the product on the wearer’s

back by loosening the hook and loop fastener on the height-adjustable carrying system (Fig. A).

5. To do this, pull the hook and loop strap (1a) up

through the back loops (1b) until the desired height is reached (Fig. B) and fasten the hook and loop strap to the hook and loop fastener.8 GB/IE Note: the shoulders are optimally padded when the harness yoke on the school backpack is between the shoulder blades. The shoulders are thus optimally encircled. The hip strap should be at the level of the hip bones. Adjusting the hip, shoulder and chest straps Please note that the product should be worn as close to the back as possible so as to reduce the leverage effect of the weight.

1. Holding the hip strap, bend slightly forwards

and pull the product up until the padded part of the hip strap is centred level with your hip bones.

2. Close the hip strap by connecting the buckles

(Fig. C). You can adjust the width of the hip strap by pulling or pushing on the end of the strap. Note: the clasp on the hip strap is sitting correctly when it is approximately aligned with the waistband or the top button of your trousers.

3. Tighten the shoulder straps by pulling on the

ends of the straps (Fig. D). Make sure that the shoulder straps are firm but not too tight. The hip strap carries most of the weight.

4. The height of the chest strap can be adjusted

smoothly (Fig. E). Make sure that the sliders on both shoulder straps are at the same height. Close the chest strap and tighten it but make sure it doesn’t restrict your breathing. Its function is merely to support the shoulder straps.

5. Pull the rain cover over the school backpack

and the sports bag to protect them from rain (Fig. I). Note: make sure the elastic band is tight. Leave out the shoulder straps and hip strap when putting on the rain cover. Make sure that the rain cover is firmly sewn onto the product. Taking off the product

1. Open the hip and chest straps by pressing the

sides of the buckle together and pulling the clasps open (Fig. C).

2. Loosen the shoulder straps (Fig. D) and take the

product off your shoulders. Attaching the sports bag The sports bag can be attached to the carrying handle or to the side buckles of the school backpack.

1. Open the upper buckle on the sports bag.

2. Wrap the strap of the upper buckle around the

carrying handle of the school backpack and close the buckle (Fig. F).

3. Open the buckles on the shoulder strap on the

sports bag and insert them into the sports bag.

4. Close the side buckles of the sports bag and

school backpack (Fig. G). Storage, cleaning When not in use, always store the product clean and dry at room temperature. Only clean the product with a damp cloth and wipe dry afterwards. IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with harsh cleaning agents. Disposal Dispose of the article and the packaging materi- als in accordance with current local regulations. Packaging materials such as foil bags are not suit- able to be given to children. Keep the packaging materials out of the reach of children. Dispose of the products and the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. The recycling code is used to identify various materials for recycling. The code consists of the recycling symbol – which is meant to reflect the recycling cycle – and a number which identifies the material. Notes on the guarantee and service handling The product was produced with great care and under constant supervision. You receive a three- year warranty for this product from the date of purchase. Please retain your receipt. The warranty applies only to material and work- manship and does not apply to misuse or impro- per handling.
