How to set up the Crivit IAN 331505 beach shelter?

Remove the shelter from the carry bag and lay it flat. Untie the elastic band around the edge: the shelter automatically deploys. Then insert the stakes into the loops around the shelter and at the ends of the guy lines, and drive them into the ground.

How to take down the beach shelter?

Remove the stakes. Grasp the center points of the bottom loops with one hand, keep the shelter upright and hold all loops in one hand. Push the end of the top arch towards the ground while blocking the bottom arch with your foot, then fold it towards the middle. Push both loops inward, release and slide all arches into each other. Fasten the elastic band and store in the bag.

What are the dimensions of the beach shelter?

The dimensions are approximately 120 x 220 x 100 cm (length x depth x height).

Intended use

This product has been developed as a shelter against wind and sun for private use. The beach shelter fabric is not permanently waterproof. For this reason it should not be used in the rain. The product is not intended for commercial use.

Safety information

Keep these instructions for use handy. When passing the product on to third persons hand over all documents as well.

WARNING!

Risk of suffocation for children! Do not allow children to play with the packaging material or the product unsupervised.

CAUTION! RISK OF INJU- RY!

• Never set up or take down the product during extreme weather conditions, e.g. strong winds.
• Make sure that all parts are undamaged and have been set up correctly. There is a risk of injury if not set up correctly.

• Damaged parts can affect safety and function. Any damaged parts may no longer be used.

• Do not leave children unsupervised! The product is not for climbing on or playing with! Make sure that people, particularly children, do not climb on the product or lean against it.

• The product may overbalance and tip over. Injuries and/or damage may result.
• Select a location with a surface that is as stable and level as possible.
• Never try to force the pegs into the ground! Lengthen the anchoring of the guy lines if necessary with the aid of a loop and place the peg in a different location.
• Check regularly that all connection points remain intact and that the pegs are firmly anchored.
• Do not remove any stitched-on labels, name tags, or information tags.
• WARNING! Do not use as a tent for camping!
• WARNING! The product is made of flammable material. Do not use open flames inside or near the beach shelter!
• WARNING! The beach shelter may not be completely closed while people are inside.
• When the product is set up be careful not to stumble over the guy lines.

- Check the product for damage or wear before each use. The product may be used only when in good working order and condition.

Pay attention to the weather conditions

• Take the product down if the wind picks up or if there are other adverse weather conditions.
- Do not make the set-up of the beach shelter too taut since it may then not be able to adapt to any changing weather conditions and can get damaged.
- Zips are wear parts and are not covered by the terms of the warranty.
- Do not use any insect spray in or on the beach shelter.
- Any small leaks at the seams can be sealed with a spray sealant.
- An impregnation spray can be used for the tent fabric.

Assembly

Note: Set the product up with the opening away from the prevailing wind direction.

Warning: Make sure that the frame is taut and always pops up into the product's natural shape. Ensure that the product does not cause any injury when tensed.

1. Take the product (1) out of the carrying bag (4) and lay it out flat on the ground.
2. Loosen the rubber band around the product.
3. The product pops up by itself into its initial position.
4. Insert the pegs (3) into the loops around the product and into the loops at the ends of the guy lines (2) and drive the pegs firmly into the ground.

Taking down

Watch the information video dealing with folding the product up by scanning the QR code with an appropriate device.

1. Remove the pegs (3) from the ground.
2. Grip the centre points of the lower loops in one hand (fig. B).
3. Hold the product up on its edge while holding all the loops in one hand (fig. C).
4. Press the top of the upper bow down towards the ground while holding the lower bow in place with your foot and turn them towards the centre (fig. D).

5. Press both newly formed loops inwards (fig. E).

6. Loosen your grip with the hand that is holding together the four loops and push all the bows in together (fig. F).

7. Fasten the rubber band around the product and store it in the carrying bag (4) (fig. G).

Storage, cleaning

Allow all parts to dry thoroughly before you pack the product away again. This prevents mould, odour, and discolouring. When not in use, always store the product clean and dry at room temperature.

Incorrect storage of the product brings the risk of mould formation.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth only and wipe dry afterwards.

IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with harsh cleaning agents.

Clean the pegs and store them in the bag supplied. Do not store them in the beach shelter itself.

Disposal

Dispose of the article and the packaging materials in accordance with current local regulations. Packaging materials such as foil bags are not suitable to be given to children.

Keep the packaging materials out of the reach of children.

Dispose of the products and the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.

The recycling code is used to identify various materials for recycling. The code consists of the recycling symbol – which is meant to reflect the recycling cycle – and a number which identifies the material.

Notes on the guarantee and service handling

The product was produced with great care and under constant supervision. You receive a three-year warranty for this product from the date of purchase. Please retain your receipt.

The warranty applies only to material and workmanship and does not apply to misuse or improper handling. Your statutory rights, especially the warranty rights, are not affected by this warranty.

With regard to complaints, please contact the following service hotline or contact us by e-mail. Our service employees will advise as to the subsequent procedure as quickly as possible. We will be personally available to discuss the situation with you.

Any repairs under the warranty, statutory guarantees or through goodwill do not extend the warranty period. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Repairs after the warranty are subject to a charge.
