When passing this product on to others, please also include all the documents! This product may be used by children age 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lacking experience and/or knowledge, so long as they are su- pervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and understand the associated risks. Children should not be allowed to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be per- formed by children without supervision. Do not expose the product to weather effects. The product may otherwise be damaged. Do not expose the product to direct sunlight. Do not place it above heaters. The product‘s wax may otherwise soften and lose its shape, resulting in malfunctions. The LED is not replaceable.11 GB/IE/NI If the LED fails at the end of its life, the entire product must be replaced. Do not place the unit on valuable or delicate surfaces without proper protection. Otherwise, the surface may be damaged by the product. Safety instructions for batteries / rechargeable batteries DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention. Swallowing may lead to burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion. DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non- rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or open them. Overheat- ing, fire or bursting can be the result. Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into fire or water. Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable batteries.12 GB/IE/NI Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / di- rect sunlight. If batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention! WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs. In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries, im- mediately remove them from the product to prevent damage. Only use the same type of batteries / rechargeable batteries. Do not mix used and new batteries / rechargeable batteries. Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a longer period. Risk of damage of the product Only use the specified type of battery / rechargeable battery!13 GB/IE/NI Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries according to polarity marks (+) and (-) on the battery / rechargeable battery and the product. Use a dry lint-free cloth or cotton swab to clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable battery and in the battery compart- ment before inserting! Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable batteries from the product immediately. Before use Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product. Note: The batteries are already installed on delivery. Pull the insulating strip out of the battery compartment

Your product is now ready for use.14 GB/IE/NI Start-up Inserting / replacing the battery / batteries If the brightness of the LED

longer responds, the battery / batteries is / are weak and must be replaced. Slide the switch

on the underside of the LED real wax candle

to the OFF position (Fig. D). Pull on the battery cover handle

and open the battery com- partment

If applicable, remove the old battery/batteries from the battery compartment

and insert a new battery/new batteries. Only use a battery/batteries of the type specified under “Technical data” in these instructions for use. When inserting the battery ensure the correct polarity: For model A/C: This is shown in the battery compartment

For model B/D: This is shown on the battery cover

Close the battery compartment

The product is now ready for use.15 GB/IE/NI Usage The switch

has three functions: Switch ON Slide the switch

to the ON position to switch on the product. The LED

will flicker slightly to simulate a candle. Switch OFF Slide the switch

to the OFF position to switch the product off. Switch TIMER Slide the switch

to the TIMER position to switch on the timer function. The product´s lights up continuously for 6 hours and then switches itself off for 18 hours. The product will then switch on again for 6 hours at the allocated time and then switch off for 18 hours. Note: The timer will restart counting from light up the product every time, by slide the switch

into the OFF position and remove the batter- ies before cleaning the product. Clean with a dry, soft and lint-free cloth. When cleaning, be sure no foreign objects enter the draught sen- sor

opening. If a foreign object accidentally enters the opening, remove it by lightly tapping it. Never pick at the opening with pointy objects. The draught sensor

may otherwise be damaged.17 GB/IE/NI Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
