How to connect the spray nozzle?

Press the nozzle into the quick coupler of the gun until it clicks. Make sure it is locked securely before use.

How to adjust water flow?

Use the water flow adjustment knob on the gun. Turn it to increase or decrease the flow between 10,75 and 12,50 l/min.

How to use the foam cannon?

Fill the bottle with detergent mixed with water (ratio 1/10). Replace the nozzle with the foam cannon, turn on water and press the trigger.

What accessories are included?

The kit includes a gun, a foam cannon with bottle (680 ml), an adjustable nozzle, a soft bristle brush, a sponge brush and a manual.

How to clean the foam cannon after use?

Remove the bottle, rinse it with clean water, fill with water and spray to remove any residue. Rinse the outside and let dry.

Can I use this gun on a pressure washer?

This gun is designed for direct connection to a standard garden hose, not for a pressure washer. It is compatible with the Sun Joe^® SPX series.

How to change the nozzle or foam cannon?

Pull the quick coupler back to unlock the nozzle, then remove it. Press the new accessory until it clicks. Do not change accessories while spraying.

What to do if water flow is low?

Check that the garden hose is not kinked, the water supply is on, and the flow adjustment is at maximum. Clean filters if necessary.

How to maintain the soft bristle brush?

After use, rinse the brush with clean water to remove detergent residue. Let it air dry before storing.

• Carefully remove the Foam Cannon + Sprayer and check to see that all of the above items are supplied.

• Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping. If you find damaged or missing parts, DO NOT return the unit to the store. Please call the Snow Joe® + Sun Joe® customer service center at 1-866-SNOWJOE (1-866-766-9563).

NOTE: Do not discard the shipping carton and packaging material until you are ready to use your new Foam Cannon + Sprayer. The packaging is made of recyclable materials. Properly dispose of these materials in accordance with local regulations.

IMPORTANT! The equipment and packaging material are not toys. Do not let children play with plastic bags, foils, or small parts. These items can be swallowed and pose a suffocation risk!

General Safety

1. Keep clear of the nozzle. Keep bystanders and children a safe distance away from the work area. Never direct discharge stream at people, pets, or electrical devices.

2. Do not abuse the water hose. Keep hose away from sharp objects. Damaged or entangled hoses increase the risk of personal injury. Examine hoses regularly and replace if damaged. Do not attempt to mend a damaged hose.

3. Store properly. After using, store the foam cannon + sprayer in a dry area. Avoid direct sunlight.

Connection

1. To connect the Quick-Connect spray nozzle to the trigger gun, snap it onto the Quick-Connect collar until it clicks into place (Fig. 1).

1. Thread the garden hose (male end) into the garden hose connection at the end of the trigger gun (Fig. 2). Attach the other end of garden hose to water supply.

Operation

Starting + Stopping

1. With the water supply turned on and the nozzle pointed to the car, squeeze the trigger. To keep the water flowing without squeezing, engage the trigger lock (Fig. 3).

1. To stop, disengage the trigger lock and release the trigger.

Adjusting Water Flow and Spray Angle

1. During operation, use the water flow throttle to adjust the water flow (Fig. 4).

NOTE: The water flow rate can be adjusted from as low as 2.8 GPM to as high as 3.3 GPM. Generally, with a higher water flow rate there will be more water released from the trigger gun. If the foam cannon is used, the detergent in the bottle will be used up sooner with a higher water flow setting.

1. When using the Quick-Connect spray nozzle, the spray can be adjusted from 0^ pencil spray to 65^ fan spray as needed by turning the nozzle tip (Fig. 5).

Working with Foam Cannon

For additional cleaning power, the unit comes equipped with a foam cannon spray bottle.

1. Remove the foam cannon cap with detergent suction tube from the detergent bottle. Fill the detergent bottle with proper detergent mixed with water as instructed on the detergent label/manual (Fig. 6).

1. With the trigger released and the water supply shut off, disconnect the Quick-Connect spray nozzle by pulling back the Quick-Connect collar (Fig. 7).

NOTE: Do not make change to nozzles when the sprayer is on.

1. Snap the foam cannon onto the Quick-Connect collar until it clicks into place (Fig. 8).

1. Turn on the water supply, and squeeze the trigger. The detergent in the bottle will be sprayed on the car.

Using the Utility Bristle Brush and the Sponge Brush

Clean tougher surfaces with Sun Joe®'s utility bristle brush, while our sponge brush safely cleans painted, topcoat, and delicate surfaces. Compatible with all Sun Joe® SPX series pressure washers.

1. If not already done, detach your foam cannon from your trigger gun.
2. Take your brush of choice and align the two tabs with the inside of the trigger gun (Fig. 9).

1. Once aligned, push the brush into the trigger gun, twist counterclockwise to lock into place.

General Car Washing Process

1. Using the adjustable nozzle on the sprayer, rinse the car to remove loose debris and grime.
2. Connect the foam cannon and foam the car from top to bottom.
3. Using a wash mitt for car soaked with detergent water, wipe the whole car. After each panel, rinse the wash mitt in clean water before working on another panel.
4. After the whole car is wiped, reattach the spray nozzle and rinse the car from top to bottom.

Cleaning + Maintenance

1. Remove the detergent bottle from the foam cannon and rinse the bottle with water to remove any detergent residue.

2. Fill the detergent bottle with water, then reinstall. Spray the full bottle of water through the foam cannon to clean any detergent residue from inside the foam cannon.

3. Remove the foam cannon from the trigger gun. Rinse the outside of the foam cannon and sprayer completely to remove any detergent residue. Allow all parts to dry completely before storage.

Unfortunately, there are times when a Snow Joe ^® , Sun Joe ^® , or Aqua Joe ^® product (“Product”) does not work or breaks under normal operating conditions. We think it’s important that you know what you can expect from us. That’s why we have a Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) for our Products.

OUR WARRANTY:

Snow Joe warrants new, genuine, powered and non-powered Products to be free from defects in material or workmanship when used for ordinary household use for a period of two years from the date of purchase by the original, end-user purchaser when purchased from Snow Joe or from one of Snow Joe's authorized sellers with proof of purchase. Because Snow Joe is unable to control the quality of its Products sold by unauthorized sellers, unless otherwise prohibited by law, this Warranty does not cover Products purchased from unauthorized sellers. If your Product does not work or there's an issue with a specific part that is covered by the terms of this Warranty, Snow Joe will elect to either (1) send you a free replacement part, (2) replace the Product with a new or comparable product at no charge, or (3) repair the Product. How cool is that!

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

WHO CAN SEEK LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE:

This Warranty is extended by Snow Joe to the original purchaser and original owner of the Product.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

This Warranty does not apply if the Product has been used commercially or for non-household or rental applications. This Warranty also does not apply if the Product was purchased from an unauthorized seller. This Warranty also does not cover cosmetic changes that do not affect performance. Wearing parts like belts, augers, chains and tines are not covered under this Warranty, and can be purchased at snowjoe.com or by calling 1-866-SNOWJOE (1-866-766-9563).
