How to pair the socket with the Lidl Home app?

Make sure you have a compatible smart home gateway and the app installed. Plug in the socket and turn it on via the switch. Open the app, press '+' in the 'At home' tab, select the category 'Male plug and female socket' then 'Adapter socket'. Follow the instructions: press and hold the switch for about 5 seconds until it flashes, then complete the pairing in the app.

What to do if the socket does not connect?

Check that your Wi-Fi router is on 2.4 GHz (ZigBee uses this band). Ensure the gateway is correctly configured and in range. Reset the socket by holding the switch for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode. If the problem persists, restart the gateway and try again.

How to mount the socket on soft ground?

Screw the stake onto the socket's post, then insert the stake into the ground at the desired location. Plug in the power plug and turn on the socket with the switch.

How to mount the socket on a hard surface (wood, concrete)?

Use the base as a template to mark the holes. Drill holes 50 mm deep (8 mm drill bit for concrete, 3 mm for wood). Insert wall plugs and secure the base with screws. Then screw the post onto the base, plug in and turn on.

What is the maximum range of the socket?

The free field range is approximately 70 meters. In a house, it may be reduced by walls and obstacles. The gateway must be placed within range of the socket.

Is the socket waterproof?

Yes, the IP44 protection rating means it is protected against water splashes from all directions. It is therefore suitable for outdoor use, but should not be submerged.

How to disconnect the socket from the app?

Open the app, go to 'At home', tap on the socket, then on the icon at the top right and choose 'Remove device'. You can choose 'Disconnect' or 'Disconnect and delete all data'. Confirm.

What do the light signals on the switch mean?

Light off: no power or off. Flashing light: pairing mode or waiting for connection. Solid light: normal operation and connected.

Can I use the socket with an extension cord?

Yes, you can use an outdoor extension cord suitable for the power (16 A / 3680 W max). Make sure the extension cord is also suitable for outdoor use and fully unrolled to avoid overheating.

How to dispose of the socket?

Before discarding, delete all data via the app (option 'Disconnect and delete all data'). Do not dispose of the device in household waste, but take it to an appropriate collection point (recycling center). The packaging is recyclable.

1. Mark the position of the drill holes through the screw holes in the foot 4.

2. Drill holes with a depth of approx. 50 mm into the marked positions.

2. Fix the foot 4 with screws (not included) on the mounting surface.

• Install Lidl Home app and setup Gateway (→ Gateway instruction manual).

• Connect product to socket-outlet.

• Switching on: Press 1.

This function only resets the product to offline mode and starts the pairing mode. If you want to remove all data from the product and the cloud, refer to the chapter "Additional functions" in the full instruction manual, Disconnect and wipe data.
