How to use the Emerio MC126284 chopper?

Attach the knife onto the support in the bowl, add the ingredients (max size 2 cm for hard foods), place the lid and the motor block aligning the edges. Plug in and press the on/off button to chop. Release to stop.

What types of foods can I chop?

The appliance is designed to chop fruits, vegetables, nuts and boneless meat. Do not chop hard foods such as bones, ice cubes, coffee beans or frozen foods.

How to clean the chopper?

Unplug the appliance. Wash the bowl, lid and knife in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher. Wipe the motor block with a damp cloth, never immerse it.

Can I wash the parts in the dishwasher?

Yes, the bowl, lid and knife are dishwasher-safe. The motor block should not be washed in the dishwasher.

How long can I use the appliance continuously?

Do not use the appliance for more than 1 minute at a time. Let it cool down for 2 minutes between each use. After 3 cycles, let it cool down for 15 minutes.

What to do if the appliance does not turn on?

Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else make sure to also include this manual.

In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

1. Warning: Potential risk of injuries from misuse.
2. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
3. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
4. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
5. Children shall not play with the appliance.

BEFORE USE

1. Remove the appliance from the packaging.
2. Take care when handling sharp blades.
3. Clean the appliance as described in section "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE".

USE

1. Attach the blade assembly onto blade support in the jar and pour in the food to be chopped. Never exceed the MAX line indicated on the jar. Hard food must be cut into small pieces (about 2cm). Otherwise, the motor may block.

Note: This blade assembly is equipped with two sets of blades. Rotate the upper set of blades anti-clockwise, you can separate the two sets of blades. You can use either one set or two sets of blades when processing food. Check and tighten the upper set of blades before use if two sets of blades are applied.

Caution: Handle the blades with care! Only touch the plastic part when separate or assemble the two sets of blades.

1. Place and rotate the jar lid onto the jar (note the bulge and groove). Place the motor unit onto the jar lid. Make sure the edge of the motor unit and the jar lid is fully aligned.
2. Put the plug into an appropriate power outlet. Press the on/off button for processing. The appliance only works when the on/off button is pressed.
3. After use, take out the plug from the power outlet. Make sure the blades stop rotating completely before removing the motor unit, jar lid and blade assembly.

Note:

• Always make sure the motor unit is in its place; otherwise, the unit will not function.
- Do not operate for more than 1 minute at a time. Stop and cool for 2 minutes then resume.
- Please make sure the appliance rest more than 2 minutes between any two operations. After working 3 cycles, the unit has to stop 15 minutes to wait the main engine to cool down.

- This product cannot chop hard things, such as meat with bones, soya bean, pepper, coffee bean, ice cubes and freezing food.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Unplug the appliance and remove motor unit.
2. Wash the jar, jar lid and blade assembly in warm soapy water. Rinse and try them thoroughly before use.
3. The jar, jar lid and blade assembly are dishwasher-safe.
4. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly. Never immerse it in water for cleaning as electrical shock may occur.

Caution: Blade is every sharp, handle with care.
