PRODUCT DESCIPTION 1 Right housing 5 Locating groove on grill plate 2 Handle 6 Reecting plate 3 Variable thermostat&Knob 7 Mini pans (8 pcs) 4 Stone grill plate OPERATION Before rst use Remove any packing materials completely. Before using the grill for the rst time, clean the double-sided grill plate, grill plate and mini-pans with a damp cloth. We recommend that you heat up the appliance for about 10 minutes, without any food, to eliminate the smell typically encountered when rst switching on a grill. A small amount of smoke may also be noticeable, so the room may have to be ventilated during this period. Before the food is placed on the grill plate, the plate should be lightly greased with a small amount of oil specically intended for frying, which may be safely heated to high temperatures.12
Double-sided grill plate With the ribbed side facing upwards, the grill plate can be used for grilling in the normal way. The reverse side is suitable for cooking 4 small crepes or pancakes. Variable thermostat If the thermostat control is set to its highest setting (hard to right), the heating element will be switched on most of the time. If the thermostat is moved to the lower setting, the heating element will switch off from time to time and then switch on again. After use, return the thermostat to its lowest setting and unplug the appliance from the mains supply. Operation 1 Place the grill plate and the double-sided grill plate on the unit, ensuring that the locating groove on the grill plate is properly secured by the corresponding lugs on the holding bracket. For safe operation, the additional ridge on the grill plate must sit securely in front of the lugs on the holding bracket. 2 Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket and push the thermostat all the way to the right. 3 Let the raclette preheat for about 10 minutes before use. 4 If required, place the food to be grilled onto the cooking top. 5 When grilling is nished, unplug the appliance from the mains supply socket. Important Notes
