COMMISSIONING Before operation

  • First, attach a kind of tow rope (nylon line or similar) to the pump with which you can pull it out of the water if necessary.
  • Connect the appropriate hoses of your aquarium/pond/jumping fountain etc. to the pump. Make sure that there are no air bubbles in the pipe system.
  • Do not place the pump in the dirt/bottom set at the bottom of the water, but in a slightly elevated position.
  • Protect the power cable from damage caused by kinks and/or sharp edges when installing it. Note: Never operate the pump without the lter basket. The lter protects the pump from contamination and blockages caused by sediment, dust and dirt. Do not operate the pump in dry conditions. Commissioning

1. Connect the pump to the power supply.

2. Adjust the ow rate on the valve.

After operation In winter, remove the pump from the water and store it in a frost-free environment, if possible in a container lled with water, to protect the O-ring from drying out and . Clean the pump carefully and check for any damage after reassembly.

Cleaning the pump Clean the lter housing and the lter sponge once a month and also when the pump performance reduces. Clean the pump if it is used frequently.
